3rd Person POV.
Ash had gone to Japan with Eiji after the whole ordeal in New York. Ash could finally get away from all the guilt, all the haunting memories. He was happy here with Eiji.
It was Christmas time, and the apartment was decorated to fit the season. Eiji had insisted that they get a tree and decorate with lights and ornaments. Ash agreed, he couldn't deny his boyfriend.
He smiled, remembering how happy Eiji was. Ash shuffled around missing his boyfriend's warmth. He glanced over to the kitchen, where Eiji was baking Christmas cookies.
"Eiji?" Ash spoke.
Eiji glanced over towards the couch, "Yes, Ash?"
Ash slightly pouted, "How much longer till the cookies are done?"
Ash could hear Eiji's giggle, which caused his heart to do flips. "Just a bit longer, dear. Why?"
Ash prepared to answer, but Eiji's adorable face suddenly appeared over the couch. "I miss your cuddles..." He frowned.
Eiji blushed, running his fingers through Ash's hair. Ash, enjoying the attention nuzzled into the touch. "Just a little bit more, okay?" Eiji smiled, shuffling back to the oven.
Minutes later, Ash heard the oven go off and he smiled. The cookies are done.
Eiji was pulling the cookies out of the oven so they could cool. He turned the oven off and cleaned up his workspace. Ash's voice suddenly appeared, "Babe?"
Eiji rolled his eyes, smiling. "I'm coming, calm down."
Eiji finished cleaning, and he removed his apron. He moved towards the living room, and his boyfriend lying on the couch. Ash, grinned and held out his arms for his boyfriend to lay on him.
Eiji moved, laying on his boyfriend's chest. He smiled when he felt strong arms around him. Ash kissed Eiji's head and started rubbing circles into his back, "I love you, Eiji."
Eiji lifted his head, closing the distance between themselves. The two shared a light, loving kiss. "I love you too."
