Ash x Eiji✏Possessiveness✏(F-S)

   I guess this will be a Highschool AU where Ash and Eiji are a open couple. It's their senior year, and it's the senior night track meet– meaning everyone shows up. Eiji nails his pole vaulting event which causes a lot of attention... Basically, jealous Ash.
   Enjoy ;).
   I was really tempted to write an angst and have Eiji damage his ankle...hmm...*evil laughter*.

3rd person POV.

   The last bell of the day chimed throughout the school. Both Ash Callenreese and Eiji Okumura left their stat. class and headed to their lockers. They walked side by side in the busy hallways, a protective arm around Eiji's waist. The boys were showing off their varsity jackets. Eiji participated in track and cross-country, while Ash played basketball.
   "You ready for tonight?" Ash glanced at his boyfriend.
   Eiji rolled his eyes playfully, smiling, "As ready as I'll ever be. It's my last meet... I have to do well."
   Ash pulled Eiji closer, feeling the dip in his feminine waist. "You'll do amazing babe, I'll be there cheering for you."
   Eiji giggled while a blush creeped onto his cheeks. "I know... I just can't believe it's almost over. Highschool, I mean."
   Ash sighed in response. Highschool ending meant the two had to leave each other. Neither of them knew what colleges they would attend, it just depended on the scholarship offers. Ash already had plenty of offers, he was just waiting for Eiji... He really didn't want to lose him. "We'll be fine I promise. I will never leave you."
   Eiji leaned into Ash, "I know. I love you" he smiled stopping in front of his locker.
   "I love you too." Ash winked, "I'll be right back."
   Ash left to get his belongings together, while Eiji packed up. He grabbed different colorcoded binders and folders, each color for a different class. His forensic science teacher decided to assign homework, on senior night? He finished packing up and hoisted his bag onto his shoulders. He stood, waiting patiently for his loving boyfriend.
   A minute later Ash gently grasped Eiji's hand. "Ready to go?"
   Eiji nodded in response as they walked towards the parking lot. Ash refused to let his boyfriend drive alone, he loved picking up Eiji every morning and taking him home. The two sat their stuff in the back, while they sat in the front. Ash was feeling slightly more possessive of his Eiji, although he didn't know why... He made it to the main road, laying his right hand on Eiji's thigh.
   Eiji on the other hand, didn't mind a protective Ash. He found it quite endearing, actually.
   "A little protective today?"
   Ash didn't respond, only smiling while looking at the road. He would never, ever, jepordise Eiji's safety.
   Eiji could only feel a pang of sadness in his heart when he knew he would never find anyone like Ash.
   "Babeeee" Ash cooed.
   Eiji left his world, paying attention to Ash. "Yeah?"
   "You'll do amazing tonight, don't be worried. You're the best at poll vaulting. You've gone state how many times?" Ash always praised him.
   "I just need to tell myself I'll be okay. Nothing bad will happen..." Eiji responded.
   Ash could tell there was something up with Eiji, but he was going to wait until they were at his place.
   Ash pulled into the driveway and the two got out grabbing their belongings. Eiji opened the front door and the two headed in. Apparently no one was home yet.
   "Are you hungry?" Eiji questioned, trying to be a good host.
   "Only for you, my love." Ash teased.
   "Shut up!" Eiji grinned.
   The smile on Eiji's lips faded and Ash noticed. "Eiji, what's wrong?"
   The Japanese boy glanced up at his blonde boyfriend, "just thinking..."
   "About what?" Ash questioned, wanting specifics.
   "About the future... Us...it just scares me."
   Ash frowned, Eiji didn't know he was waiting for him. If anything, Ash wanted to surprise him, but he was starting to rethink it. It was causing Eiji a lot of trouble, he couldn't bare to see him like this, especially on his big night.
   "My love," Ash grasped Eiji's hand, "you know I haven't accepted any scholarship opportunities yet... I'm waiting for you. I know you're the one, you are the one person in the world that is meant for me. I don't want anyone other than you..."
   "Ash..." Eiji's broken voice emerged. "You didn't have too ruin your future for me..."
   Ash smiled, "I'm not running my future. I'm planning it with you, I'm making sure we're happy."
   Ash didn't have any time to finish before he was tackled into a tight hug. Eiji couldn't fathom what he had heard. Ash wanted to spend his future with him. "I love you," he cried, "so much."
   Ash couldn't help but feel his eyes burn with tears, he pulled Eiji closer. He kissed the top of his head, "I love you too, so fucking much."
   The two stayed like that for quite awhile, until they got tired of standing and moved to Eiji's bed. Both med stayed and cuddled, light kisses here-and-there. The enjoyed each other's warmth, and Eiji prepared himself for the meet.

  Eiji had just finished his warm-ups when the crowd rolled in. Ash always got there early to hype Eiji up, he always sat front and center, wearing Eiji's varsity jacket. Eiji found it cheesy, but quite adorable.
   Eiji walked back to grab a drink, when he suddenly heard a cat-call. He glanced up to see Ash. He playfully rolled his eyes, blushing, "Hey handsome."
   "Hi yourself, beautiful."
   Eiji giggled running up to the railing of the bleachers. "Cheer me on okay? I'm going 20ft and 2.5 inches. The world record height."
   Ash stared in awe at his boyfriend, he could really do anything. "You'll do amazing. I believe in you, and so does everyone else."
   The coach blew his whistle, the short distance  was starting. "I gotta go!"
   All the more unimportant events took place, according to Ash. Until Eiji was up for his pole vault event. Everyone knew he was trying to jump the world record and they screamed nothing but support. Eiji stood and blushed on the track, waving to everyone who was supporting. Blowing a kiss at Ash, who caught it in return. Yes, they were that couple.
   "Eiji Okumura, Senior, Poll Vault, he will be attempting a 20ft 2.5in jump this eavning. Please quite down in the stands."
   Eiji let out a breath, releaving his anxitey. He took small steps forward and back preparing himself. He stood at the starting point, releasing another heavy breath. Then, he ran. He ran knowing he could do it. He jammed the pole Into the ground, and hoisted himself up above the bar. The air wrapped around his body as he flew. He could only pray that he made it over– he didn't dare open his eyes. Until he felt it. He felt the firm mattress on his back.
   He did it.
   Eiji Okumura jumped the world record. And succeeded. The blurriness of his hearing disappeared and was replaced with cheers. He did it.
   Yet. He was only worried about the scholarship opportunities. Not his possessive boyfriend.

   Eiji met all of the college scouts, who praised him, ruffled his hair or touched his arm. Ash wasn't having it. So many girls kissed his cheek, Eiji was his, why were others touching him?
   Ash didn't dare bother his boyfriend though, he would congratulate him later tonight. He was so unbelievably proud of his Eiji. Yet, jealousy thrived within him. Other boys in the class were hugging him, girls were kissing him... Of course, Eiji didn't think much of it... But Ash? He was pissed.
 

  Eiji was left with photos with his parents. Ash already talked to them about Eiji staying with him that night, and they didn't care.
   After photos a group of girls stood wanting a picture with Eiji. Fucking Freshman, Ash thought. Eiji obliged with the photo, but he didn't know he was going to be one of the girls' first kiss... He couldn't believe she did that.
   Ash was furious to say the least. He was the only one who could kiss Eiji. Ash moved his hair out of his face and held his letterman jacket in his arms. He was going to give it to Eiji to wear.
   Eiji said his goodbyes after and hour of attention. He walked towards the gate, only to meet an angry Ash.
   "Are you okay...?"
   "Just peachy," Ash responded annoyed. But that annoyance was soon replaced with praise for Eiji. "You did amazing. I'm so proud of you, words cannot express how amazing you performed."
   Eiji chuckled softly, blushing. "Thank you."
   Ash grabbed him protectively by the waist. "I'm sorry about a few minutes ago. I'm just annoyed that so many people were touching you."
   Eiji smiled in understanding, "I get it. I'm the same way with you."
   Ash smiled and the two got into his vehicle. Ash's parents were out on a vacation, so they had the house to themselves.
   Though Ash felt a little better he couldn't wait to replace all those kisses.

   The two walked through the front door, and the beast that was being held back, was unleashed.
   Ash didn't have any hesitation in backing his boyfriend against the wall, greeting him with a hungry kiss. Eiji didn't complain, he loved Ash after-all. The two kissed heatedly, the kisses getting sloppier, but they didn't care.
   Ash grew impatient and picked Eiji up carrying him to his room. He continued to loom over his boyfriend, kissing his cheeks gingerly. He couldn't stand the thought of random kids touching his boyfriend.
   "I'm sorry," he apologized sincerely, "I just can't stand others all over you."
   The Japanese boy only smiled, staring lovingly at his boyfriend. "Ash Callenreese, I love you."
   Ash nuzzled into his boyfriend, "I love you too."
