Will you rescue me from the drought in my mind from the thirst to be saved from the doubt from the cries
Will you hold my heart with tenderness to keep me from burning from my emptiness
Will you be able to handle my moods as they swing high and low like the shoe laces on my shoe
Will you put in me check when I don't want to care when I don't want to talk when I think it's unfair
Will you lighten my day way brighter than the sun way brighter than the light you need when you turn the bathroom light on
Cause when you turn the bathroom light on you'll see a trace of tears
They never dried up, they last all year
