Summer deisaster

Marinette's POV

This last summer was supposed to be one to remember, I was dating Nathanial, my best friends Chloe and Alya by my side, and my sister Tiki we decided to go to a party, Nathanial got a little too drunk and tried to feel me up, but I was uncomfortable"Nathanial please stop" I begged him but he refused to listen
"Come on babe, it's a party after all" he slurred his words, he grabbed my chin and made me look at him, he leaned forward and attempted to kiss me, I backed away and he grabbed my arm "why do you gotta be so stubborn Mari?" he slurred again I gulped and Kim and Max shouted "dude just do it!"
"No please just get off me!" I shouted at him, he pulled me closer so I clenched my hand into a fist and slammed it into his stomach "I said no!" I shouted again and went to find Alya.

I searched for a while, I saw her sitting on a fallen tree and I smiled at her, "You okay?" I asked her
"yeah I'm fine just dealing with this petty highschool bullshit, you know how it is" she smiled back "whats going on with you and Nathanial?" she asked and I got mad
"He keeps trying to feel me up, I mean we've been friends since childhood you would think he get it, I don't wanna do it yet" I said angrily at my friend, she placed a hand on my back and smiled
"you'll get through this, You are the great Marinette Dupine Chang! Your family is one of the greats who founded this great town we happen to call home" she shouted causing me to laugh
"There's a smile" she grinned
"shut up, but it's not bad living in mystic Falls" I nudged her we sat and listened to the wind rustling through the trees, I closed my eyes and just let the breeze hit my face. "this is peaceful" I let out
"it truly is" Alya sighed the music got louder and we heard screaming and laughing kids
"Oh boy who did what?" she asked we both stood up and walked to the party. Stopping in the clearing I saw Nathanial making out with a brown haired girl.
"WHAT THE HELL NATHANIAL!" I screamed at him,
he looked up and his face dropped
"Mari its not what it looks like" he tried to explain, I just ran away calling my momma and Papa
"Honey are you okay?" my mom asked
"No can you guys come get me?" I asked them
"of course honey, well be there in a bit" she said. I stood in the parking lot waiting for my mom and dad, when I heard a twig snap,

"h-hello is anyone there" I asked, then a blond haired boy exited the forest
"hello" he smiled at me
"hi?" I questioned
"Im new here, my names Adrian Agreste" he said his emerald green eyes met mine,
"i'm Marinette" I hesitated, he came over to me and sighed
" I can't have certain people knowing in here yet" he looked into my eyes, "you won't remember this encounter," he said and I repeated it, my eyes opened and I continued to wait for my parents, it took them around a half hour to forty five minutes to get there, I hopped in the car and we sped away, "So what happened at the party honey?" My mom asked
"alot momma, I don't wanna talk about it," I said a few tears escaped my eyes, my Papa driving they where in a deep conversation about a new order for the bakery and how they wanted to re paint the house, I smiled at them then looked out the window watching the trees pass by.
" so Marinette do you wanna re do your room?" my Papa asked pulling me out of my trance,
"i-I don't know papa" I managed, trying not to let them know that I was crying,
"okay honey, well give it some thought okay" Momma said,
"Of course I will" I said back my eyes never leaving the window, I listened to my parents talk again, about the different colors they wanted to do and throw out the old couch.

After a while I stopped listing to them and just watched the tree's, ' well mari can your life get any more fucked up, you boyfriend cheated on you with a blond girl. ' I thought to myself "TOM LOOK OUT" I heard my momma scream, before I knew it my dad drove over the side of the road and in to the river. I tired to unbuckle my seat belt but It wouldn't budge. "papa" I said as tears ran down my cheeks.
"it's okay Mari, your gonna be okay" he tried to calm me down
"Is- is Momma okay?" I asked him he looked over at my mom and tried to wake her up
"Honey wake up." he pleaded over and over again, water started filling the car. My dad continue to try to take off his seat belt; the water now was up to our necks.
"Papa" I said again he looked back at me and smiled
"I love you Mari" was the last thing he said before the water submerged around us, I struggled to get out, my body crumbling under the pressure of the cold water, I looked at my papa who just looked back at me he closed his eyes and I couldn't hold it anymore, I lost consciousness. the cold water surrounded my body. everything went black.
