Herbology had gone decently that morning. There were a few times where Harry couldn't stop blushing or smiling, which drew confused looks from Ron and Hermione.
The second his last class of the day ended, Harry raced back to his dormitory. He desperately needed to write everything down. Ron and Hermione had agreed on the fact that he was obsessed with something or someone- although they didn't know what or who. Although Ron disagreed, Hermione thought it would be best to not bother Harry until he was ready to talk to them about it.
He pulled out a quill and parchment. He knew that he would never send it, but he desperately needed to write all of this down.
Dear Gorgeous,
You must know that your smile gets me every time. That everytime you look at me I start blushing. You really don't care about what other people think of this do you? I think people should never find out about us- at least people who aren't our close friends. Not that I'm saying there is an 'us'. But- there might be.
So it's official, I've totally fallen for you. I know it's fast, we only just became friends. Truth is I've been wanting us to quit this rival thing for ages. Now I just need to stop thinking about you all the time.
I can't exactly pinpoint why I adore you. Maybe it's your grey, silver eyes or your adorable grin. I would do anything to have you. Just thinking about you makes me want you more. I know you'll never be mine. There are a million things keeping us apart. I just wish- for one day, I could kiss your lips, run my hands through your hair, curl up in your arms. I'm drawn to you. No matter what my brain tells me, I can't help but hope you are too.
Sincerely, Hopelessly in Love
He folded the letter and sealed it perfect for all of the people that would never get their hands on it. Harry knew that mentioning anyone's names would be deadly if someone found it. It could end in disaster. It was already descriptive enough by describing Draco.
He couldn't wait for their next meet. They had planned it in two days- in the same broom closet where they met. During dinner. Harry could barely focus on his work in and out of class. Every time he would get a little bit of focus on his History of Magic essay he would lose it again thinking of him. The whole time, he was wondering if Draco was thinking about him. It had certainly seemed like he was interested in Harry, but could this all just be some big joke? Possibly. For now, Harry didn't want to think about that.
But there was one thing still tugging at Harry's mind. I'm not gay, am I? He thought. I mean, it's not like I'm in love with Draco... thinking the words "in love with Draco" made him blush. Ok so fine. I do like him. It is official. I have fallen for him.
