I woke up with the sound of my annoying alarm. I stretched out my hand towards my alarm to put it off but when I ain't making any improvement, I stood up and put it off. I heard my mom's voice banging on my brother's door and shouting "Get your lazy ass up and get ready for school!"
"Ugh! Cut it out mom, we're up already" Josh grunts. I opened my door, "Morning mom" I greeted. She replied as she hurried downstairs to prepare breakfast.

I quickly went to the bathroom before my brothers start arguing about who to bath first in their own bathroom which always ends with one of them using mine. I brushed my teeth, turned on the shower but waited for it to get warm before getting under it. After about 5 minutes, I got out with a towel wrapped up my body while Jack almost immediately stormed into my bathroom.

I went straight to my bedroom, changed into a crop top with high waist pants with snickers. I wasn't really a fan of makeup so, I just applied mascara and lipstick, making sure the lipstick isn't that obvious.

I went downstairs, and took my time to eat my food knowing fully well that I have to wait for my brothers who clearly are still in the bathroom. I always remind my mom to get me my own damn car, so I won't have to wait for my brothers but she will always say "on your 18th birthday " and I'm always like 'What the fuck,  why can't a 16 year old be free, like, I'm in high school now, not middle school'.

My dad kissed my mom on the cheek and was about to go out when I said "Dad, can you please drop me off at school cos my brothers ain't ready yet" "Sorry dear, am not going towards your school and... You really need to work on your tone when talking to your parent. I always tell you, no informal word" he said but not coldly as he left. I slumped back on the couch, brought out my phone to keep myself busy until my brothers were through. After some minutes, my mom left for her workplace too. Kyle messaged me

Kyle: hey pretty

Me: hi

Kyle: Ain't u coming to school today

Me: am coming just that my brothers ain't done dressing yet.

Kyke: Kk, I'll be waiting for you

Me: Kk, tanx

Not too long later, my brothers came downstairs, "Let's go sis" Jack said. They all notice my annoyance and apologized.

Nathan was the one who drove the car. Jack sat at the seat beside the driver's while I and Josh sat at the back.

"What really happened last night" Josh asked me.

"Well, after you got drunk, Kyle had to piggyback you out of the party, when he dropped you in the car, you told him to... " I paused. He motioned for me to continue which I did,

"...to kiss him" I said.

Jack laughed making jest of Josh. "What else happened" Jack asked now interested. But Josh told me not to continue but I ignored him.

"Josh was like, hey baby, kiss me " the way I said it makes Jack laugh more, even Nathan smiled. Josh just used his hand to cover my mouth to prevent me from saying his embarrassing moment further more. The only thing that stopped us was the stopping of the car which indicates that we were already at school.

Josh stopped acting childish, opened the door and put on his player face. That's what I called the face he puts on, lol. One would not believe that he was the same Josh who just played with me some seconds ago. Don't misquote me, they don't ignore me, intact sometimes I and Kyle do sit with them during lunch.

As usual, we all stepped out of the car and went to our various set of people.

Nathan went to his cool and brilliant friends. I must admit his friends are hot but they are not the player type. Jack and Josh went to their friends, they did some brother hug and move in and as usual, girls were drooling and staring at them. I looked around to find my one and only friend, Kyle. You must be wondering why Kyle is my only friend, well it's because girls who wants to be my friend are only using me to get closer to my brothers after getting my brother's attention, they stop being friends with me and eventually, my brothers will dump them and that somehow oddly makes me happy.

I was snapped out of my thought by a hand grabbing my hand and locking it. I look up to see who it is and found out it was Kyle. "Hey" he said smiling, "Hi" we both walked hand in hand to the class we had which we had together.
