Kyle's POV
I waited till Sebastian car was out of sight before coming out of my hiding place.
I kicked my car severally and landed lots of blows on it.
WAIT... WHY THE FUCK AM I LIKE THIS... I asked my self
Well, maybe it's because I have a crush on Amanda. I'm not going to deny it anymore.
But I don't know how she'll take the news if I tell her and I don't want to risk our friendship.
I entered my car and still banged the steering before igniting the engine and driving out of the car.
I got to my house in less than 20 minutes cos of the speed at which I drove the car. I was lucky not to have driven the attention of the police for over speeding.
I entered the house and met my mom watching movie.
"Hey son, you're back" She said standing up.
"Yeah... hi mother" I said and moved upstairs to my room.
I just hate my mom, for all the things she's done... To me and to my dad.
Now, I have a step dad.
He's a successful businessman, he travels around the word, he rarely spends time with us.
He's trying to get me to like him but I just don't. I refuse to collect any money from him, that's why I needed a job and I've been going for interviews, which Amanda was also...
Right. Amanda. God knows where she and that player is now.
I really need to warn Amanda about that guy.
Just then, a knock cut me out of my thought.
Hoping it was Amanda, I ran to open the door just to be disappointed by seeing my mom with a worried face.
Such a pretender. Like I care.
I stood at the front of my room door staring at the woman I once respected.
"Can...Can... Can I come in" She asked politely.
"Yeah" I said with no emotion at all as I stepped out of the way.
I waited for her to come in and I closed the door behind her.
I went to sit on my bed while my mom...mother drew a chair closer to the bed.
"Kyle, have you been searching for job again" She asked.
"Yeah" I said standing up and bring out a note from my bag, pretending I have an assignment to do cos I know where this discussion is going to already.
"Kyle I...I'm you mother, I'm not dead, Dave has a lot of money..."
"I don't need Dave's money... He's not my dad" I said cutting her off.
"Honey, I... " she tries to talk again but I still cut her off
"You never should have done what you did" I said "Now If you'll excuse me, I have an assignment to do"
She sniffs and I know she's started crying, who cares, I did the same thing years back but she turned deaf ears to it.
"Anyways" she sniffs "I think this... is... for you" she sniffs again and drop a paper in front of me and left.
To be honest, a part of me felt pity for her but, she's done worse.
I picked the paper she left for me and smiled at the content.
I have to call Amanda.
