Amanda's POV
The ride home with Sebastian was quite interesting. He kept on holding my hands at interval and sometimes he say sweet words to me and I blush.
He took me to a restaurant and we chatted for sometimes when Kyle's call came in.
Seriously, I forgot about Kyle. Now, I've started feeling really bad for lying to him.
"Sorry, let me pick this" I told Seb.
"OK, no problem princess" He said in a sweet voice. I smiled and excused myself to the restroom.
"Hello girlfriend" he said happily
"Hi Kyle" I said in a hurry
"Are... Are u busy, I could call later" he said.
"No, no, how was the interview?" she asked.
"That was why I called" he said changing his tone to a sad one.
"Don't tell me.. " I said in a sad time.
" Yes Amanda... I... I passed!!!" he said almost deafening me.
I screamed " Oh my God, I'm so happy for you" I said.
" So, where'd you wanna go, my treat" he said.
"That Chinese restaurant down the road, you know I've always wanted to go there" I said.
" Oh yeah, I'm coming to pick you right now, so get dressed, don't wanna see you in your pj, else that's what you're gonna wear to the restaurant" he said and I heard shuffling which means he's already preparing to come.
Oh God, this isn't good
"Right now? I thought it'll be like tomorrow"
"I'm resuming tomorrow remember?" he said
"K... Kyle, I can't go now" I said pressing my lips together
"If this is one of your pranks, I'm not falling for it" shuffling stops
"No no, I'm.. I mean it, I'm not at home" I said feeling bad.
"I can come pick you wherever you are" He said
"I'm with Sebastian" I blunt out
"What? You're kidding right?" he said
"No" I said
"Okay, enjoy... , I'm hanging up now" He said and hung up.
I breathed out heavily and went back to meet Sebastian
"Sorry, it was my brother" I said
"Does he want you to come home?" He asked worried
"No, no..just wanted to know if I'm still alive" I said and he laughs.
"You're funny Amanda, I like you" he said and smiled
"Oh really" I said and we both smile, staring at each other for more than a minute before I cleared my throat to stop the awkward moment
"Oh, um...the food... It's getting cold right?" he said
"Oh, yeah" we both smiled and continue eating
