A groom and bride standing beside each other, their arms linked together with a bouquet in hand. Though their arms were just linked with each other, it was also someone else in the picture. Two teenaged boys, linking arms with their respective parents. Awkward smiles dawned their faces while their eyes were burning with a newborn hatred. Hyunjin huffed, holding the wedding picture in his hand as he sat at the steps of some stairs that would only lead upwards.

It was a few months after the wedding day had happened and his mother had returned from her honeymoon maybe a month or two earlier. Now that the family had grown bigger, the old two bedroom apartment that Hyunjin had grown up in was no longer suitable. This only ended up in the decision to move to a new home to accommodate for the two new people in the house... plus a dog.

Not to be that guy but as much as Hyunjin didn't like his new brother, he felt kinda bad for him. He remembered very vividly coming over to his house with his mom to help pack things up to begin the move. Jeongin lived in Busan which was definitely far from Seoul, where the parents had settled on moving to officially. The boy was stalling packing his belongings into the moving truck, wanting to stay just a little longer. He was even the last to leave the house, continuously lingering at the doorframe of his original home before joining everyone else.

However that didn't make up for the car ride to Seoul though. The boy was constantly messing with his dog, which was stuck in his little kennel during the ride, and irritating the poor thing. Hyunjin constantly snapped at Jeongin to quit messing with his beloved dog until they finally got into an argument with each other that his mother had to stop. In the end, he had kept the dog in his arms during the rest of the ride to Seoul.

Fast forward a little bit and they were at their new house that was able to fit everyone. Hyunjin's dog was roaming around freely and exploring the place while everyone helped out to unpack moving trucks and begin getting settled into the house. The wedding picture in his hand was one he had found in one of the boxes in their new living room, which was going to be placed on the wall somewhere soon. "I look so bad in this picture." Hyunjin grumbled, placing the photo back into its rightful place and standing up to stretch his legs.

He grabbed his phone by the headphones, letting it dangle close to the ground as he turned around to see his mother hauling a box into the room. She placed it right beside the box he has rummaged through and opened it up almost immediately. "What are you doing in here?" She questioned, glancing up at him every so often. "I thought you'd be like normal teenagers and find the room you think will be yours."

Hyunjin snorted, taking his phone in his hands and placing it in his pockets. "If it's not the master bedroom then what's the point?" He asked her and all his mother did was laugh. That definitely meant that he didn't have the biggest room. "Where's Kkami? I dropped him down in the house when we arrived but I haven't seen that dog since."

His mother stopped for a second, trying to remember where their beloved furry friend had disappeared off to. "I believe the last time I saw Kkami, he was following Jeongin to your guys' room." She stated, making the boy freeze. What? After everything the two of them had been through, Kkami was going betray Hyunjin for his lame little step brother? He couldn't believe it.

"Where's the room? I don't want him stealing my dog away from me." He explained, beginning to march to wherever he thought the room may have been. His mother stopped him quickly, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards her. It took him off guard for a quick second, but Hyunjin didn't question it.

She forced his hand open and dropped a necklace in his hand, a stainless steel cross pendant. It was one of the many necklaces that his mother used to wear. "Take this, I know how much you like wearing these and I don't tend to wear them anymore. Think of it as a hand-me-down. Oh, and do not lose it." She stated, letting his hands curl up against the cross as she pushed him away. "Oh and the room is up the stairs to the left."

He smiled, giving his mother a quick kiss on the cheek before beginning to run down the hallway. "Thank you, love you!" Hyunjin called to her, pulling the pendant over his head and letting it fall into place. He turned his attention to the spiraling stairs that lead up, knowing that if he ran up these steps he'd currently trip and fall. He gripped the railing and began speed walking as quick as he could.

As soon as his feet touched the second floor, he dashed towards the first room on the left. Though he was greeted by a closed door and muffled music playing on the inside. Luckily, the boy hadn't locked the door so he could still get inside. So he turned the knob and swung the door open as her peered inside the room. There was Jeongin sitting on the floor listening to whatever trot song was playing in the background as he unpacked his belongings without a care. Of course his dog was there, watching the boy carefully before noticing Hyunjin's existence.

The room was filled with yipping and barking that came from the tiny canine as it ran to Hyunjin instantly. He scooped the dog up in his arms before narrowing his eyes at Jeongin. "What did you do to seduce my dog? You were just messing with Kkami in the car, I have no idea why he'd take a liking to you now." He demanded, shielding his favorite animal in the world away from harm.

Jeongin looked up, giving Hyunjin a skeptical look as he turned down the music. "Firstly, seducing a dog sounds gross. Secondly, I didn't do anything. The dog just followed me here and didn't want to leave. So I dealt with it." He stated.

Hyunjin narrowed his eyes once again, taking a look around the room. A lot of the boxes they had were labeled with either "HYUNJIN" or "JEONGIN" in black sharpie, written in their respective handwritings. But what he noticed was a majority of the boxes inside the room had his step brother's name on it and were slipping onto the side that Hyunjin claimed default.

"Why is all yourself spilling onto my side of the room? Keep your stuff to yourself." Hyunjin snorted, pushing everything aside and trying to make more room for himself. His eyes took a glance towards the speaker that was now softly blasting some odd trot music that had really caught him off guard. "And what are you even playing? It's kind of getting annoying the more I hear it."

Jeongin shot a glare towards him for insulting his music before responding with,"At least I don't listen to some lame big 3 music. Honestly, who even cares about them? Trot music is way better than whatever that group makes." The boy skipped over to a box with Hyunjin's name on it, before pulling out a neatly folded poster and waving it in the air. It slowly began to unfold, show casing the idol group that Hyunjin had adored so much.

"How dare you? Got7 has made some of the best music to date!" Hyunjin exclaimed before snatching up his poster away from Jeongin. "And don't touch any of my posters, these are special and if I see a single strand of your hair on them I will not hesitate to slaughter you." He threatened. Truth be told the only reason he didn't want Jeongin touching his posters was because he had gotten every single one of them sighed by the one and only Park Jinyoung himself.

"Take back what you said about trot music and maybe I can grantee that I won't touch them." Jeongin stated, whistling the melody to the trot song from earlier as his hands went back into the box full of Hyunjin's fanboy collection of Got7 related things. The boy jumped up so quickly to snatch the box away, not wanting any of this things ruined by the irritating step sibling. The two glared at each other as Jeongin's turned up the trot and Hyunjin placed the box away from his rude step brother.

He turned around to be greeted by the confused face of his beloved dog and all Hyunjin could do was sigh. "I'm sorry, Kkami, that you had to see that. But he's got to learn the rules of my Got7 collection, just like you had to." He stated, and the dog simply whimpered in response. "No one touched the scared Got7 collection."
