0721.

It's been three weeks since I started training with the "big kids" you might say.

I strode into the observation room. Maine and Wyoming were already in the observation room, fully armored and ready to roll.

Maine turned to me and gave the slightest of nods. I returned to the gesture and joined Wyoming and Maine near the observation window.

North and South against Washington and York. Three and Six against Five and Nine. I guess the twin quality for North and South might strengthen them...but Against Three and Six, that's difficult.

I turned to Wyoming and Maine, ranked four and seven respectively. Wyoming was more of a threat, however Maine had Sigma. It was difficult to determine who was more dangerous, but it didn't really matter since I was squaring off against both of them.

Carolina entered fully armored as well.

"Wyoming, Maine, Alaska," she greeted cordially joining us at the window.

"Training complete," FILSS announced over the intercom. A knot grew in my stomach. I was next.

"Let's go," Wyoming said in his heavy British accent to Maine and I. I stepped back from the observation window and followed Wyoming and Maine to the training floor.

"All agents please take positions in transport tubes," FILSS announced over the intercom. Three tubes equidistant around the circular arena. I stepped into the blue one, the two red ones were for Wyoming and Maine.

"Resetting area for infiltration scenario," FILSS informed us. The floor changed, creating a three level maze with one-way lifts, two-way lifts, stairs, locked doors, encrypted doors, datacenters, security cameras, dead ends and other such nuances of a rebel complex.

"Agent Alaska, your objective is to retrieve important encrypted data stored in the main console, return to your starting location, and hold that position for at least five minutes, or elimination all targets in the area. Team One, your objective is to stop Agent Alaska from obtaining this vital information. You are allotted forty training soldiers."

I was still contained in the starting tube.

"Scenario launch in sixty seconds."

I could sense the entrance of forty training soldiers drafted into this serving during this training exercise.

The small weapons locker in containment tube dropped down and spread around me. I picked up the two perfectly balanced magnum pistols and a shotgun, only lock-down paint bullets, no live rounds. I placed the shotgun on my back and grabbed extra shells, those were mainly for Maine. I grabbed a blank datapad then a datapad with a virus. I also grabbed a couple of smoke grenades, flash bangs, and some "explosives" (they were mock and when engaged they "exploded" but in actuality it just overrode the closed door and opened it permanently). It was to prevent casualities (a new policy after live rounds were used on the training floor against Tex resulting in York losing his left eye).

"Sixty seconds to scenario launch," FILSS announced over the intercom. FILSS covered the observation window and then activated holoprojection screens to show a three-dimensional view of the three layer maze-like complex map and small blips of red for each guard. Two brighter and larger dots indicated Wyoming and Maine. The single blue dot is what held Carolina's attention. It was the representation of Agent Alaska.
