Forgotten

In the midst of the moment
I sat down waiting for the laughter to fade
In which, I had not participated in
How could I, if they didn't include me
I used to feel like an obstacle blocking everyone from doing what they want
But now I'm not because they all just forgot about me
The tears start rolling in,
it stings my cheeks as well as the corner of my eyes
I am forgotten
Nothing less
Perhaps I'm a mere soul slowly drifting away
To find safety and to escape
From this hell
