For some reason I think that the song "Zombie" by the Cranberries fits this chapter, because it has a desperate tune that really makes me wanna cry and that feeling matches this chapter :/

I suggest turning it on while reading this chapter ^^

The two panicked parents saw it all happen.

"CHRIS!" screamed Samantha, eyes wide with terror, hands outstretched and grabbing at thin air.

Vincent could only gasp as his heart skipped at least two beats.

No.

"Vincent, don't!" Sam screamed again as the man ran desperately after his son who disappeared into the bushes. No. He couldn't lose another one of his children. He couldn't.

But when he bolted through the bush where he last saw his son, there was no trace of him or his kidnapper. Blinded by confusion and panic, he went back and checked in the leaves. Nothing. He turned around again, double-checked, behind trees, or the grass for footprints. Nothing at all.

Hot tears poured from the poor father's already red and puffy eyes as he refused to believe that Chris was gone. His heart was racing crazily, and he was panting short and ragged breaths. He must be around here somewhere, he thought as he desperately looked around. They couldn't have gone far.

They just couldn't. There is no way that he could ever lose another one of his children.

He suddenly felt a hand touch his right shoulder. He stiffened and spun around wildly, only to see his wife, with tears streaming down her cheeks. She had a pleading look on her face, and William could only look at her with his panicked glare.

"W-where's Chris?" Bonnie asked anxiously as he skidded to a sudden halt between Vincent and Samantha, closely followed by Foxy. But at the sight of the two's faces, the rabbit and the fox immediately understood.

"C-Chris?" Foxy whimpered, his eyes widening, although one eye was covered by a pirate eyepatch.

Vincent tried to swallow the lump in his throat to answer, but before he could, more yells and screams could be heard not too far away.

They immediately feared the worst.

Without anything to say, they immediately sped through the trees towards the sound, hearts beating uncontrollably as their anxiety got worse, and, astonishingly, Vincent ran the quickest, even though his legs were hurting horribly from all that pointless searching.

"VINCENT! BONNIE!" a voice screamed hysterically, and not long after they nearly slammed into Chica, who was followed by a panting and wheezing Freddy Fazbear.

"What? What happened?!" Vincent urged, just as hysterical. "Where's Michael?"

Freddy and Chica were struggling to breathe, leaning over and clutching their chests as they panted. Vincent looked around desperately.

"WHERE IS MICHAEL?!" Vincent roared, and everyone flinched.

Chica looked up at the already-devastated father, her eyes welling up with tears. "T-they took him," she croaked. "They came out... out of nowhere..."

Vincent didn't need to hear any more. He didn't want to. He fell on his knees, trembling hands pressing against his ears as he pulled on his messy brown hair.

It's my fault. It's all my fault.

The voices of the animals and Sam echoed all around him.

"Vincent! Get up, we gotta get out of here!"

"What about the kids?!"

"We can find them, but we won't be able to if we don't make it out!"
