Nico’s POV
I was heading to Percy’s cabin when I heard small sobbing and Percy’s enraged voice. I never thought he could be that angry, and not to mention him being really scary when he is.
I hid behind the bush next to his cabin, and I saw Annabeth walking out crying. I waited until she was completely out of sight, and then went to check on Percy.
I just stood up slowly and searing pain seeped through my chest and up to my head. I knocked on the door weakly but made sure it is still audible for Seaweed Brain to answer.
“Hey there Ghost King! Whoa, you don’t look good, c’mon in and we’ll talk.” Percy’s face was all gloomy until he saw me and then his face lightens up. I don’t know why though.
"Hey the- *cough* oww..." My chest really hurts.
Percy closed the door behind me and I set myself on his bed. I know that something is wrong with him and Annabeth.
"Wondering what happened?" Percy asked.
DID HE JUST READ MY MIND OR SOMETHING?
"And no I don't read minds di Angelo."
I said that out loud didn't I?
"Yes you said that out loud di Angelo."
What the fuck.
"Okay Nico, yes, I just broke up with Annabeth." Percy said, his voice sound hurt.
"Oh... I am sorry... are you alright?"
You have a chance Nico, go and ask Seaweed Brain now!
No... Bad Nico >:
"Yeah I'm fine. Actually I was about to break up with her too. She changed... a lot. She became all wild and... I don't know, she is just different."
I told you, YOU HAVE A CHANCE! NOW GRAB IT!
NO! HE IS STRAIGHTER THAN A FUCKING POLE DUDE... SHUDDUP
"Nico? Hey bud, did you catch a cold or something? Your face it turning into a tomato..."

"Oh nothing I am fi- *cough* *cough* OWWW my chest... well not really. I am here to tell you some news. You will be the only one who knows this at this stage besides from Chiron and one Apollo kid who helped me. Promise to not tell anyone?"
My breathing accelerated, I was starting to shake. Percy noticed and he put his hands on my shoulders. "You can trust me Ghost King. I swear upon the River Styx I will not tell anyone. What is it Nico?"
My heart is pounding like hell. My breathing did not slow down but sped up even more. Percy looked at me, worried, rubbing his hand on my back in circles, trying to comfort me.
"I- I- Percy, I am having cancer."

Oh well. This is the worst, I am sorry guys, I love Nico personally more than ant other characters. I don't know why I am doing this to him though ><
