Chapter 4

Zack's POV

Friday

Yesterday was one of the best nights I've spent without my friends. She is honestly an amazing girl but I really can't see her as being a girlfriend. I just don't ... I don't I'm confused about her. I really like her and everything but I think that I've never been this friendly with a girl before and this is messing my whole brain. Oh fuck I forgot to tell her earlier that I was just using her as a girlfriend just to get rid of that Britney thing. How can someone be that irritating, man sometimes I just wanna hit her even though my mom taught me well to never hit a woman. To hell with it, I'm tired now she must have got the message.

Reaching home I took a cold bath and then I called Ethan to have a small chat which then turned into a group skype call which also lasted for some hours. I don't even know how I fell asleep. I just love winter, I get a reason to not work out in the morning cause it's all wet and cold but also I get to sleep in under my thick white duvet. Sadly I woke up yet with another call from my mom. Now she is inviting me for dinner tomorrow night and to add on, she wants me to spend my entire Saturday with them and some other business partners or something.

People usually say that women do a lot of gossiping but boys do less, but I say that they do less because they do not have good friends but in our case my friends and I are always gossiping among each other being related to work, other's personal life, new love interests, we know it all and it utmost details. So as I had to vent my anger on someone I called Alicia and told her to add everyone else in the group because I was too lazy to do it and I used my anger card to make her do it for me. "Soo bro what's up? Something's getting hard on its own or what?" Nicholas said as an attempt to be funny. "Hellooo, I'm still here," Alicia said to make us come to the point at once. "So what's really up bro, are you ok? Is it related to Evelyn" Christian said softly. " Evy no why? Why would it be related to her? Ok nevermind actually I am going to spend the most amazing day tomorrow, my mum has invited me to spend the entire day with them tomorrow and my friends AND there is more my great parents are also poking their nose in there they will fucking be there also and ow tell me how am I supposed to entertain them Fuck guys I'm screwed!" I said rushingly and in the most irritated tone. I really don't wanna spend that much time with them because I know that they would want to force me into an arranged relationship so as my grandparents would die happily watching me get married. "Hey dude come on look, your grands look just fine to me and they are even more active than me so if they wants you to believe that they would suddenly snap and die that's complete bullshit. By the way you still can handle them over some redbull and they will be just fine why do you have to get married? That won't make them any younger. Can't they think about you a tiny bit like you are still young,hot and totally dateable and they do not have to look for a wife for you... I mean what is that the 18th century? Fuck it man just run away! They are making a fool out f you and you are just falling for that. Don't be an idiot bro." Daniel spatted as he vented out his anger about my family's point of view and their imposition of marriage on me as a threat of my grandparents being weak and wanting to bid me off as a married man. As he finished his monologue, Samuel and Ethan couldn't restrain themselves from clapping and we all joined in. Daniel is the funny kind of person that likes to fool around just like me but when it comes to his friends he is very triggered and will do everything in his power to resolve the matter. I just love him, he is such a nice guy. "Ok but what I suggest is that you just go, meet the girl, act disgustingly and politely refuse her that's it and if she does not agree take her somewhere you can to her privately and tell her that you got another woman pregos and that you have to cater for your child and all I don't know just make up something believable and make sure to tell her not to tell your parents yet because you want to tell them personally and right now you don't want to break their heart. That will definitely push her away trust me? Alicia said understandingly. "Wait what if she is a nice catch?" coughed out Daniel " But then what he just marries her and happy ending. Why are you complicating things? Guys go already we have to reach office in a few hours and I have a pregnant lady to look after with all her morning sickness and all so get loss." Samuel said savagely as he was getting bored of our same old jokes that would definitely turn into another conversation. "I heard you mister" we all heard Vanessa in the background as she was coming to chat along with us. "Hi love how are you feeling today?" Said Christian as we all greeted Vanessa in the background. "I feel kind of OKish today but just a piece of advice DO NOT FALL PREGNANT." she said and we could she her discomfort with her morning sicknesses. "OH shoot now I have to postpone my plans why did you have to say that, I was actually trying to conceive oh gosh" And of course only Daniel could say something that silly but actually at that point of time it made everyone giggly but at the same time so fed up of him that we ended the call and only then I was able to get my shit together to get ready for work.
