"King Aviur, please reconsider your decision.. She is still just a child!" His servant from before suddenly mentions again as they arrived in front of a door, where no light could reach inside.
"Leave!! All of you! Insolent fools... you don't understand what could happen if she remains here.." Aviur mutters. Passing the men as they hurried away with a grim expression, Sena walked up beside Aviur.
Opening the door, She hears the voice of the child singing. "In the dark forest, a young girl pleas, a small light shines and she could see~ A glimpse of the world bright and small, what kind of madness will befall?~" The little girl stares out into the only window in the room. A dark room with one small window. Isolated from the world beyond, she sits and whispers a lullaby. Why was it so unfair?
Sena walked behind Aviur as he approached the girl. Now with a clear glance at the girl. She looked exactly like her. "What's going on..." Sena said as she stared at the girl, who also seems as though she was looking at Sena.
"Leave!!!" King Aviur shouted as he grabbed the child by her arm. The little girl groans in response to the violent tug and then begins to kneel on the ground.
"Please let me stay!! I promise not to sing it anymore! I'll be a good girl!" The girl pleaded with tears in her eyes. However, the King had no reaction towards her pleas. "No! Please help!! Help!" She continues to gaze at Sena as she said those words. Knowing it would be no use, Sena reached for her hand. "You have to let me live here!-......" Just then, at the same time, both Sena and the girl groaned in pain. A sharp sharp pain surges through her. For a moment, Sena felt the girl's icy hands, and everything went pitch-black again.

Still not ready to wake up, Sena was laying on what seems to be a cushioned mat. 'His name was Aviur.. But what time did he rule over Strylis..? And that kid.. was that me.. this doesn't even make any sense!!!' She thought and finally opening her eyes into an unfamiliar room again.
"I must inform the prince immediately.." A voice said. Sena turned to see a woman with jet black hair and ocean blue eyes. The woman smiled at her.
Sena jolted up in surprise. "Where am I?"
"This is the Palace of Lenor, you've been ill for a day now.." The woman said as she poured me a cup of water.
"Where are my friends?"
"They should be outside." She quickly replied. Sena gulped down the cup of water and got up.
Walking outside and into the cheerful streets of Lenor, she walks through the never-ending crowd and stumbled upon Vincent in a small market.
"Oh, you're finally awake? It's been a day since you blacked out..." He said.
"What happened?"
"Nothing much, but you did miss the banquet." Vincent told her.
"Ah, really.. Did anything happen to the princess?" Sena asked him.
"No, she was safe." He replied with a grin.
With edginess Sena asks, "When are we heading back?"
"We're actually not heading back until the Veiton Storm passes us.."
Sena glanced at him with a baffled face. "A storm?"
"No, a pirate ship. They're extremely menacing, and we don't want to cause any trouble while we're leaving Lenor." Vincent said as they walked out of the market.
"I'm sure a bunch of pirates can be-"
"I'm certain we can, but we're going to cause riots in a foreign land. Keep in mind that Lenor is a respected neighboring island. We don't want any political issues." He firmly said as he turned to face her. "We'll be leaving in a few days just to be safe, so until then.. just have a look around the place."
Vincent then walked ahead, drowning himself within the crowds. 'I need to get back to Strylis. If Cyril is there, maybe.. just maybe he could help me.'
As the night came, Prince Abel, Princess Lilly, Leon, Vincent, and Sena were all seated at the large dining table that extended far back to the double doors leading to a large kitchen that provided them amazing traditional food.
"As you may already, the Veiton Storm is a large group of people associated with piracy. In regards to the Princess' safety please protect her tonight, I'm sure a few people of this castle have been discreetly befriending them. Every so often as they would board at our port to collect goods." The prince said.
Vincent and Leon exchanged glances while Sena rose from her seat "So... you're saying that the Veitons are going to raid Lenor and you're not going to do anything?!" She yelled.
Prince Abel stared in disbelief at Sena's temper. "I..-I'm only the second prince, Sena.. There's not much I could do except listen to my brother Val. He is in charge of the island's forces."
"Then he should already know what his have been doing."
Prince Abel made a slight frown. "..."
That night, Prince Abel was right. While Sena and some guards of Strylis were patrolling on the rooftops of houses, the sounds of more than a dozen footsteps were coming close. Their sheathed blades fleetingly touch their clothings with a clack. One by one they marched towards a large warehouse located several houses from the palace.
"This is a good night!!" The man leading the group shouted with delight. Sena sat on the roof, watching them. 'We're leaving tonight.' As Sena was ready to move, Vincent came from beside her and grabbed her.
"What are you thinking?" Vincent almost shouted.
"We need to stop them!"
"Our job is to protect the princess. We cannot mess with them." He exclaimed sternly.
"But if we get rid of them, Lenor wouldn't-"
Vincent sighed, "We just have to wait until they're done, leave them be, Sena. Why are you so troubled?"
"I have my business in Strylis." She told him with a solemn face.
"Your business is here. The moment you stepped foot in the palace of Styrlis, was the moment you vow to give your life to protect the royal family. This isn't XOLA, this is not a game." He sharply retorted without a wince.
Hearing that, Sena felt the anger boiling inside of her, she clenched her fist tight to avoid doing something wrong. Sena bit her lips and glanced at the ground as her mind was about to go crazy. There was so much she wanted to say at that moment. Without a word, Sena headed back to the princess' room. 'Damn him!! Damn it!..Damn..'
"Is something the matter?" Princess Lilly asked her as she was sitting at the edge of her bed.
"No.. not at all..." Sena murmured.
"I apologize.. I understand that you must've felt uncomfortable during this trip." The young princess said standing up and walking towards Sena who could only face the large palace window.
Sena wasn't going to hide it. She turned and gave a bitter smile. Princess Lilly returned to her bed. The smile that gave Lilly chills up her spine had already disappeared, but she can still recall it. Even as she tried to go to sleep, there it was a again. A painful smile on a beautiful lady's face. Lilly closed her eyes. ' I have done wrong..'
✎☃~~~ On The Next Chapter ~~~☃✎
When she arrived in her room, she had never felt so tired. All her thoughts were about one thing. The book. She sat on the bed, staring fixedly on the book. Opening to the second page, there was cursive scripts:
I was young when I met him.
