James stood at the edge of the stairs that lead to the garden. He slowly stepped onto the lush green grass and found it felt wonderful under his socked feet.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Amelia asked. She stood a few feet away from him, barefoot and wearing one of her famous flower crowns.
He only nodded and walked over to her. Together the two of them walked further into the gardens until they reached a fountain.
The fountain was small, but it was secluded, just what Amelia wanted for another interrogation. She sat down on one of the benches as James began smelling around the flowers.
"So, James, do you remember your home?"
He shook his head. Amelia gulped and tried once more: "Where are you from, personally, I'm from Bedford."
He plucked a lily and walked back over to Amelia sitting down next to her. Twirling the small flower in his hand, he answered: "East End."
Amelia felt a pang in her heart: "Wh-ere in East End...?"
James dropped the flower to the ground, not caring and stood up again, this time walking I've to the fountain: "No-where, just East End."
Amelia was confused, and for some reason frightened to continue asking questions, still, he asked one more: "James...how did you...get all the way to t-that al-ley...?"
James splashed his hand into the water, maybe a bit to strong. His, pajamas had gotten wet and Amelia would have to change him later on, but still...
He went silent, only until he dipped his hand into the water again her replied: "...the circus..."

Amelia paced from one side of her room to another, thinking.
James was currently under the not-so-watchful eyes of Mey-rin, reading in the library, so she had time to wander about what the small child had said.
Why won't he tell me where he lives? She thought. And what does the circus have to do with anything!?
Amelia knew that she could leave the manor anytime despite being told several times not to, but with James here...she simply couldn't leave him alone. Sending out one of the servants or calling the Undertaker was out of the question and Ciel and Sebastian had vanished from the face of the Earth!
That only left one person...and as much as Amelia hated to admit it, she desperately needed help.
"I need a favor."
Silence. Absolute silence. She sighed deeply, all her hopes of finding information where lost-
At your service, m'lady.
Amelia couldn't help but smile slightly at the snarky remark.
"I need your help. I need you to find out everything you can about a circus near East End...or anywhere in London for what-matters."
Huh? You mean you don't know?
Amelia furrowed her eyebrows together "Know? About what?"
About the circus in town. Noah's Arc Circus, to be exact.
