Amelia sat in the carriage on her way to the Phantomhive Estate. She was fooling around with a ring on her finger.
She sighed, and glared at Ciel which sat across her. "Why the eyepatch?" She asked.
"None of your business" He coldly replied.
"How come a child has been assigned to protect me?" She asked again.
He glared at her. "When we arrive, you and me will go to my office and I will explain. Okay?"
"Okay."
"..."
"But still, why do you wear an eyepatch?"
"What part of-" But Ciel was cut off by the halt of the carriage.
"Young Master, we're here" Sebastian said as he opened the door. Ciel grunted and stepped out. Sebastian offered a hand to Amelia which she took.
"Wow" She looked up to the manor. "This place would look beautiful light up in flames..."
"I beg your pardon?" Sebastian asked, not sure of what he had heard.
"Oh! Sorry, I just drifted away..." She looked up to the manor once more.
Sebastian only nodded.
Amelia walked up the stairs to the front door. Sebastian behind her.
Inside the mansion, they where greeted by the three servants.
"Hello young Master! Oh who's that pretty lady? She's pretty. Yes she is" A young maid with a pair of glasses asked the Earl.
"This is Lady Amelia, the Duchess of Bedford" Sebastian said, he had
walked past Amelia and took his master's coat. "She will be staying with us for now on"
"It's nice to meet you all" Amelia answer with a smile.
"Ameila these are Mey-rin, Bardroy and Finnian, the servants"
The trio smiled.
"Mey-rin, will you take Amelia to my office?" Ciel spoke up for the first time.
"Yes young Master" Mey-rin answered. Mey-rin turned to Amelia "Follow me miss"
Mey-rin took Amelia's hand and led her up the stairs and threw a long corridor lined with doors. She opened a door and Amelia entered "This is the Young Master's office" The maid said with a smile.
The room was simple, a desk, some books here and there and a tea table with two chairs.
"Oh yes, thank you Mey-rin" Amelia said before sitting down on one of the chairs.
"Today we have Earl Grey tea and biscuits" Sebastian said as he poured a glass for Ciel. " There something's that we need to talk about"
"Uhm" Amelia nodded.
"Until these murders stop, you are not allowed to lave this manor alone, understood?"
Amelia stayed quiet for a while, then she said:
"That still doesn't answer my question...why do you wear an eyepatch?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Uhh...I lost it due to an infection." Ciel said as he took a sip of his tea.
"Um, ok..." Amelia shrugged. She got up and excused herself to her room, Sebastian had showed it to her earlier.
It was quiet simple compared to hers, a king sized bed, a dresser, a vanity set, a desk, the window and a fireplace.
She slipped from her light yellow dress into a knee length nightgown. Amelia threw herself onto the bed, into a deep slumber.

"Young Master I don't think you should be mean to a lady like miss Amelia" the butler said.
"Ugh don't tell me you've grown fond of her too now have you?"
"Young Master you seem to forget I am not capable of such emotions, I meant that miss Amelia is a powerful woman, if she dislikes you, your reputation will become low" Sebastian said, matter-of-factly. "And what would the queen think of that"
Ciel could almost imagine the queen's reaction to seeing that her lovely niece and her watchdog did not get along. "So you believe that I should befriend her?" Ciel raised an eyebrow.
"Nobody said anything about befriending, I meant you should treat her with respect and attend to her needs"
Ciel sighed, he pushed back his chair, stood up and left the room, tired of arguing with the demon.

It was past midnight when Sebastian hear odd sounds coming from the kitchen. He was sitting at his desk reading a book when he heard a crash. I should go see what's going on...he thought. He got up and snatched his coat from his bed, he opened the door and left to the kitchen.
Maybe it's a cat. He quietly opened the door and peeked inside. Amelia was looking for something in the cupboard, wearing a nightgown. He furrowed his eyebrows, Of course it's not a cat.
"What are you lo-" Before he was able to finish a knife flew past his head, sinking itself into the wall behind.
Amelia gasped.
"I-I'm sorry! You scared me you big idiot!" Amelia yelled.
"Well what are you doing here in the first place?" he crossed his arms over his chest "Isn't it a bit... late?"
"Well, I-I was hungry and I didn't want to wake anyone up" she lightly blushed "Besides, I c-can make my meals all by myself"
Sebastian sighed.
"There are some biscuits in the oven, but I can make you something else if you want..."
Amelia walked over to the oven and pulled out the leftover biscuits. "Do you want some?" She asked him.
"Uh, no miss."
"Well, then I'll be leaving." she picked up the plate of biscuits.
"Good bye" Was the only thing she said as she turned on her heel and left the room.
