Kion looked on. He was in this alone, no turning back. He stopped in the zebra fields. All of the animals that lived here were told to clear for the day, as the king was to have a meeting with one.

After a moment of thoughts, Kion whispered to himself, "We're gonna get out of this alive." He knew, one wrong thing said, and he could be dead.

Suddenly, Kion heard a rustling behind him, making him whip around, all muscles active.

"Always alert, what do I keep saying?" And Vitani rose from the grass.

"Come on, I told you to stay with the pride-"

"You really think I'd leave you alone to face someone that would murder you just because she feels like it? Let alone, she's my blood. My mother."

As if on que, that was when Zira arrived.

"Right then," she said in her raspy old voice without a greeting to commence the conversation. "Let's talk it out, young prince." "I enjoy silence quite a lot." Zira continued. "In fact, I've been with it for all these years since your father exiled me." Her voice was only growing more unsettling and the hatred inside her showed obvious signs of only being stronger as time went on. "Prince Kion-"

"I am king here now, Zira." He couldn't bear being addressed wrong forever by this one foe. This one foe that had been causing only harm to his family for ages.

"Let me remind you again," Zira stepped forward threateningly. "Scar was the real king. And your father killed him unjustly."

"I've heard this from you many times already Zira, step back." Vitani only backed further away behind Kion.

"Step back? That's all you could muster up against me? Oh, Kion, you're not a king. You are the son of a reasonless murderer, and you're as weak as your brother, who I had already sorted out. And I can do that sorting again, this time with you..."

Kion took a deep breath as his fear was only building. But that brother Zira spoke of never died that time long ago...
