Many bits of self-knowledge only come through experience.
Think of yourself as being like a biscuit mould: it’s only by pressing yourself against the dough of life that you get to see what shape you actually are.
Self-knowledge therefore isn’t something you can always do in isolation, retreating from the world to look into yourself.
You acquire knowledge dynamically, by trying things out and colliding with others – which always carries a risk, and takes time.
In careers, for example, you can’t know what you might want to do with your life simply by asking yourself questions.
You need to head out into the workplace and try things out.
You need to spend a week with the programmer or go and meet someone in the accounting service etc.
Self-knowledge can only evolve as a result of dialogue with the world.
You need to step out.
Happy! Happy!! Happy!!! Christmas to you. We wish you the best in life.
Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season.
We celebrate you. Thank You!
