"Tray what do you mean you can't get him? I have to go to work." I said sitting down on my bed.

"Mane listen I gotta lotta shit to do tonight, Ian got time to watch him."

I looked at the phone then hung up.

I decided to call my grandmother hoping she would be awoke at this time.

It rung a few times before she answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey Granny it's Reign."

"Hey girl, what are you up to?"

"Nothing you know just about to head to work."

She chuckled. "Need me to watch Maikai again?"

"Yeah, if it's not a problem for you though?" I asked.

"Of course not baby, bring him over."

I smiled. "Thank you so much granny, I really appreciate it."

"You know I'm always around for you, now bring him over girl."

I thanked her before hanging up. I blew out a big breath of air laying back on my bed.

Working 9 to 5 wasn't something I planned on doing, but raising a 2 year old boy by yourself was something you just had to do.

Specially with a drug dealer father that's never around when you need him. Yeah it really gets hard at times.

Since I already had my work clothes ready, I went to get Maikai diaper bag ready. He was sitting on his bed watching Paw Patrol.

He looked at me and smiled causing me to smile back at him. I went over to his dresser getting his clothes packed for him.

"Maikai?" He looked at me.

"I'm gonna take you to Granny's okay?" He nodded.

"Okay, lets go then baby boy." I said grabbing his bag.

"Granny I really appreciate you doing this for me." I said handing her his bag.

"It's the least I could do since your baby father won't do it." She said.

"Granny don't even bring him up right now." I said rolling my eyes.

She chuckled. "Well let me not hold you up, oh and drive safe baby." She said waving from porch. I waved back, "I always do."

Inside Of The Strip Club.

I rushed to the dressing room knowing my set was getting ready to come up. I was halfway coming through the door when somebody grabbed my arm.

Knowing that I didn't like to grab by random people, I turnt around ready to snap on whoever. I stopped before I said something that was gonna get me fired.

"Why were you late?" My manger said with a worried expression on his face. I pushed my bag up over my shoulder.

"Sorry my baby father couldn't watch Maikai, so I had t-," 

"You know what it's okay just.." he cut me off before I could finish.

"Just hurry and get ready I need you on in five minutes okay?" I nodded yes, and walked to the back. I sat my bag down at the booth and got ready to do my makeup.

Now it was 11:35 and I was off of work. Well technically I been off of work but I just never left. I still had stuff to get down.

Plus Valentino needed me to stay for whatever. I made sure I had all of my stuff walking to his office. I knocked on the door twice.

He opened the door for me and I walked to the chair next to his desk and sat. It was Valentino and another guy there, but I wasn't paying attention.

"Reign, thank you for staying." Valentino said taking a seat. "I know it's not very often of me to ask you to stay this late at night."

I waved my hand. "It's fine Tino, so what's going on?" I asked slightly annoyed. I was ready to leave to get to Maikai.

"Well you know, I'll be outta town for a couple of weeks to take care of some business, and I needed someone to take care of the place while I'll be gone.." He said.

He pointed to the guy in the chair beside me. "So I wanted you to meet the man who would be keeping everything in check."

I looked over at the guy. He looked at me and smiled showing off the VV's in his teeth. I would be lying if I said he wasn't fine.

"Sup lil' mama," He said holding out his hand. I took it and shook it. "Hey my names Reign." He was still looking at me smiling.

"Wassam Reign, just call me GLOCK."
