I was currently up packing Maikai diaper bag. Today was Saturday, which means it was Tray's weekend to keep him.

I had plans tonight with Keisha and knowing her I probably wasn't going to remember tonight.

Keisha was my best friend. We've been close ever since she moved from Louisiana.

She was shy at first, but the second week of knowing her she started showing her true colors. Not in a bad way of course.

Which is another reason why we clicked easy. She also worked at the Playa's Club but she was the bartender.

I grabbed my phone to dial Tray's number. It ringed and ringed but he never answered.  I sighed and looked over at Maikai.

His eyes were glued to the tv. "Maikai?" He took his eyes off the tv. "Wanna do a pop up?" He smiled at me.

"Okay baby boy." I said grabbing him and his bag.

Walking down the hallway, my phone started ringing. Since stuff was in my hand, including Maikai I had to wait till we got in my car.

I walked into the kitchen sitting Maikai on the island.

I grabbed him some snacks, putting them into his backpack and we made our way out the door.

Today was the hottest day in Memphis so I didn't put him on any hot clothes or me neither.

I strapped up Maikai into his car seat ,then going back to lock the door.

"You ready to go?" I asked looking back.

He had his tablet watching Paw Patrol so I doubt he even heard me. "Okay then."

My phone automatically connected to the Bluetooth in my car.

I started scrolling my missed calls to see who had called me and it turned out to be Tray. I called him back and he answered on the first ring.

"Wassup." His deep voice filled the car.

"You at home?"

"Why?" He asked.

"Because it's your day to get Maikai."

"I can't get him today, I got plans." he said.

Right after that I heard a girl laugh in the background .

"He'll be waiting at your moms house."

I said before hanging up in his face.

I rolled my eyes and started my way towards his mothers house. What a way to start a weekend.

"Bitchhhh we haven't hung out in forever," Keisha said walking into the door.

Which was true, I was busy with Maikai and work that I hadn't had much time to enjoy myself.

Plus Keisha and I's hours were completely different, so we didn't see each other at work.

"I know it has been a while huh?" I said pulling her into a hug.

She started swaying us back and forth.
