I looked at it before shaking it. He flashed a smile. "What's ya name beautiful?"

"Reign." He didn't let that smile go. "Pretty name for a pretty girl."

My grandpa spit betta' game than him.

"Thank you." I didn't bother to ask his name simply because I didn't care. He stared at me for a while.

"I got something on my face." He chuckled. "Nawl just taking all you in Ma'."

"Well I think you seen enough potna'." I recognized that voice to well.

"And you are?" The random dude asked. I turned back towards the bar not wanting to be involved in whatever was finna' go down.

"A nigga you should be worried about. Now I'm sure she was enjoying herself without yo' ass here. So move along homie. Befo' shit go down."

"Whatever, I gotta head out anyway bro." He got off the stool and left the bar.

"How you kno' I ain't wanna talk to him?" I said raising my eyebrow.

"Girl I kno' you like a book. Why yo' ass here by ya' self anyway? I told yo' ass about that." I waved him off.

"Did you forget I was grown?"

"Not grown enough to get ya' ass beat." I stood up embracing him in a hug. It lasted for a while, then we both took a seat at the bar.

"How come you don't never call ya' brother nomo'? I probably was dead."

"It works two ways you know, plus I called you last week. Didn't even answer, so what female had your attention?" He laughed looking down.

"You kno' me sis, a nigga always busy. And when I'm not I'm coolin' somewhere." I shook my head.

"I understand bro, just be careful out there for me please. You my only damn brother and I need you here with me." He pulled me into a hug. We were like this for a while until Kayla came back.

"Sorry I took long girl, they was out there bumping and grinding and wouldn't let my lil' ass by." She said taking her original seat.

"Well well well, if it isn't my future baby mama." She looked at Javin and rolled her eyes.

"Boy bye, you ain't impregnated shit over here boy and I'm tired of telling yo' ass that."
