"Awww look at the baby!" I looked up seeing a woman in her 50's maybe speaking to me.

I smiled, " Thank you I appreciate it."

"What's he mixed with?" She asked with a curious face.

"Nothing he's just 100% black." I said.

"Oh well, he's very handsome." She said pushing her cart away.

"Thank you." I said pushing my cart away to the next aisle.

I started picking up things I needed for tonight.

Since it's always me and Maikai, I decided to just make chicken strips for him since I knew I wouldn't have a appetite later.

Lately I've been barley eating. I told myself to make a appointment to go to the doctor one day.

I grabbed a couple of snacks for me and Maikai and started my way to the checkout aisle.

I was waiting for the people in front to get checked out. I got on my phone to past time when somebody bumped me from behind.

Lucky them I wasn't in a bad mood cause I would've snapped but I just polity said "I'm sorry, I was probably in the way."

I turned around seeing the same dude from the strip club. Since the last time we meet it was dark in the room, so I couldn't get a good look at him but seeing him now I noticed he was finer then last time.

He looked me up and down then said, "Ain't you ole' girl from the strip club?" I nodded.

"Yeah, that's me. Nice meeting you." I put my hand out. He grabbed it shaking it.

"Nice meeting you too Ma'." He said his lil' accent slipping. I took his appearance in more and noticed that he wore a lot of designer.

He must've been rich. He had on jewelry that was shiny and looked expensive.

I'll snatch his shit.

I laughed to myself and he looked at me weirdly.

"I'm sorry just a inside joke."

He cracked a smile showing parts of the VV's in his mouth. "What do you do for a living?" I asked leaning on my cart.

"You foreal'?" He asked looking at me surprised.

I shrug my shoulders. "Damn I feel a little offended." He said grabbing his chest.

"Why?" I asked.

He was still looking surprised.

"Cause girl, everybody damn near kno' me."

I rolled my eyes. I hate niggas that's cocky as hell for no reason.

"Oh well I don't." I said turning back around facing Maikai, who was reaching for the candy on the shelves.

I grabbed his hand away before he could grab it.

I still felt his presence around me but I didn't care to start another conversation.
