"Mane how long you gon' keep nigga waiting?" Markeyvius yelled from the other side of the bathroom door. I rolled my eyes as if he could see me.

"Boy imma' be out soon, you can't rush perfection."

After I dried off I did my regularly routine. I was putting some finishing touches to my outfit when my phone started ringing.

I looked at the caller ID and answered.

"Boy why you keep pressing me?"

"Why yo' ass ain't outside this hotel yet?"

I sat my phone down on the counter and put him on speaker so I could finish my makeup.

"If you keep bothering me I'm never gonna' get finished."

"Well I'm finna' pull off and go by myself."

"Key quit cappi-."

I heard his loud ass car start up.

"Okay okay, I'm coming down there."

He hung up and I left the bathroom getting ready to go downstairs.

"Dang I forgot I brung you wit' me." He said opening the car door for me.

"Shut up I wasn't even in there for long."

He closed my door and jogged his way to the other side. Once he got in he started the truck up and pulled out of the driveway.

"You know you didn't tell me where we were going right?" I said looking over at him. He looked at me for a second then put his attention back on the road.

"It's a lil' surprise for you. So be quiet nosey and wait." I rolled my eyes and smiled.

After what seemed like forever, when pulled into a nice restaurant parking lot. He got out and made his way to my side to open the door.

"Aww look at you trying to be a gentleman." I said grabbing his hand for support.

"Girl shut up and come on befo' I take yo' ass to McDonald's."

"Ain't nothing wrong with that." I said flipping my hair.

"Don't be putting that synthetic weave in my face."

"Baby boy ain't nothing synthetic over here, Thank you."

He grabbed my hand and lead us into the restaurant.

When we got inside the place wasn't that full. Just a couple of people here and there.

"Wait right here I'll be back." He said letting go of my hand.
