Dedication: StayStrong_ILoveYou because she was the one who just got me started on all this. And she just always brings TEARS TO MY EYES she's so nice! Go follow her if you aren't already! :-)

Since my mum had to go to work, that meant I had to help unpack the removal van. We did my mum's room first, just like she wanted it done. I then dragged her suitcase up to her room and threw it on the bed for her to unpack. We did my room next.

"Just shove it all in the middle of the room, I'll move it once we're done." I told the removal guy. He nodded, glad to have work lifted off his shoulders. When everything was pushed into the center of my new room, the removal guy started on the downstairs, while I did my room. I put my bed in the center of the right wall, and luckily there was a plug socket right next to it so I put my nightstand and lamp there. At my window seat there was a small shelf to put books or whatever, so I put a few books and my journal there. My bookshelf went at the back wall, and so did my chest of drawers. I put my guitar on it's stand in the corner by my bed, and I put up my posters. The room was starting to look like my room at home. Well, ex-home. I then put any remaining furniture where I wanted it, and put my TV on top of the chest of drawers. I then unpacked all my clothes and shoes. I just shoved the suitcase under my bed. I really liked the room. It was the same size as my mum's, but somehow it felt bigger. I then went downstairs to help the removal guy with the rooms. He'd already been given notes on where my mum wanted everything, and it turned out he'd finished all the downstairs furniture! I paid him the money on the table, which was £50, and he left.

I decided to pass the time AND help my mum by clearing away the kitchen appliances. I saw there was a drawer with four compartments. I put the knives, forks, spoons and teaspoons in the compartment organization like where we used to live. While I was putting the pots and pans away, I suddenly heard the door slam shut. In complete surprise, I dropped the wok I was currently holding and slipped on some water from a pan that wasnt dried properly. Instead of my mum worrying about me, she said:

"Oh no! My good wok! Lucas, how could you drop this?"

"Oh, right. Nice to know you care about a god-damn WOK more than your own son." I retaliated

She sighed and offered me a hand, and when I went to take it, she told me,

"I was reaching out for the 'god-damn wok' not you."

She put the wok in the cupboard and finally offered ME a hand.

"Mum, do you want a cup of tea? Go sit down and I'll make you one." I said. She went into the living room to turn the TV on. I switched the kettle on and I grabbed a teabag, milk, sugar and a teaspoon. I patiently waited for the kettle to boil. I took it in to her and I saw that my mum was watching How I Met Your Mother.

"Mum! How very DARE you watch MY How I Met Your Mother!" I shouted. She just laughed as I sat down on the sofa and stared at the TV.

5 hours and god knows how many HIMYM episodes later, my mum had decided to crash on the couch. I looked at the time on the TV, it was so early I swore.

"What! 3:30am!" I whispered while turning the TV off. I quickly ran upstairs and put on some sweatpants. I looked at the view from my bedroom. It was absolutely amazing. I took a photo of it and dived into my bed. I had literally never been happier.

So there's chapter 6. I cannot believe that I have nearly 100 reads!  I know its not much but..wow. Anyway, like all chapters, comment about how you think the story is going. PM me if you have a suggestion or just wanna talk to me.
