Proposal - Error x Fresh

Error sighed softly as he pulled his phone out and clicked the power button once. His phone screen lit up displaying the time. It was currently eleven thirty at night. Error clicked his phone off as his eye sockets welled up with tears that rolled down his face and dropped onto the bed a moment later. He guessed Fresh wouldn't be home till really early in the morning again.

Over the past two weeks, Fresh had never really been home. He'd go out during the day and he wouldn't come back till about three or four in the morning. Then, when Fresh woke up, he would leave again around eight or nine. Sometimes he'd drop by but that was only for about five or ten minutes.

Whenever Error asked Fresh what he was doing or where he was going, Fresh would always responded with 'I'm going ta do somethin' important' or 'Ta tha store.' Error never had the chance to ask another question since the rainbow skeleton always ran out after that.

During the day while Fresh was out, Error would text him to ask where how he was doing but most of the times he didn't reply. Error would always make dinner for Fresh, which was always eaten and gone when he woke up, then get an 'I love ya text' from Fresh around nine. He'd read the message but honestly he didn't know whether to believe it anymore.

Fresh was never around anymore and they rarely got to hang out, have lovey dovey time, or even talk. Fresh was always too busy. Was whatever he was doing THAT important? More important than him and their love...?

Error laughed dryly as more tears ran down his cheekbones. Apparently so. Fresh was probably bored of him and that's why he hadn't been home. He must have sneaking out to see another guy. A guy that was better than him. A guy that wasn't boring. A guy that wasn't ugly looking like him...

He should have done more. He should have done more when he saw it happening! He should have tried to make himself look better! He should have done more things for Fresh! He shouldn't have been so lazy! He should have done so many things and maybe Fresh would still love him! But now, it was too late... All that was left to do is enjoy what little time he had left in this house before Fresh kicked him out so his new lover could move in and take his place...

Error wiped his tears away and closed his eye sockets more falling down his face, replacing the ones he had just wiped away. The small glitching skeleton curled up into a tight ball, pulling the cover over his head as he cried himself to sleep once again.

It was three in the morning and Fresh has just came home from being out all day. He closed and locked the door then walked to the kitchen and grabbed he dinner Error had made for him out of the fridge. This time he had made him chicken and rice. Fresh smiled and put the plate in the microwave, heating up the dish his lover had made for him. The colorful skeleton sat down the the table and started to eat his food, resting half of his head in his hand as he did.

Once Fresh finished his food he rinsed his plate then put it in the dishwasher before walking upstairs to his and Error's shares room. He walked in and quietly closed the door so he wouldn't wake Error up. Fresh pulled off the clothes he was wearing and changing into the rainbow colored pajamas before carefully crawling into the bed with Error. He pulled the cover off of the smaller skeleton and wrapped his arms around Error, hugging him close to his chest. He pet his lover's head, making his purr softly in his sleep as Fresh continued his actions. "Just wait a little bit longer..." Fresh murmured as he started rubbing Error's back.

Over the past two weeks he hadn't really been home much. He was always out. Why was he out? You might ask. Well, Fresh was planning on proposing to Error in about three days. All of the time he was gone he was busy setting up the place he wanted to propose with help from his friends. A little while back when Fresh was wandering around in the forest, he had found a big clearing that was hidden by some vines. He saw the clearing and immediately knew this was the place he wanted to propose to Error. It needed a lot of fixing up but that was okay. Fresh knew the clearing would look great when he was done with it. He had been working on fixing it up non-stop the past two weeks and all it needed now was a few little touch ups before it was perfect. Fresh had felt really bad about basically ignoring Error for those two weeks he'd make everything up to him. After they got married, he'd take Error on a honeymoon to Hawaii to make up for everything.
