Alice
I just put in the first batch of Christmas cookies in the oven. Christmas is a very important celebration in my college so we have vacations from the December 15 to the January 8. I'm bored stiff without work. I plopped on one of the elegant couches, admiring the decorations of my ridiculously large house. How did all the servants manage to decorate the house within 3 days?!! Damn all these rich people! I guess you could say that Samuel and I are on a little better relationship. That is if we don't bring up my omitted past or his wannabe girlfriend who blames me for snatching her rights away from her. Tomorrow at 4 am, Samuel and I are being sent to Finland for Christmas vacations. I wanted to spend Christmas in China but his grandmother insisted and I couldn't say no. Since it's Christmas time, I decided to use my remaining free time and cooking skills to contribute to the festivities. So I baked some Christmas cookies. My main intention were to bake some for Samuel but my bashfulness got better of me and declared that it was a hobby. Not sure if anyone believes me.*****Night- 9:30pm*****
Wow, it's late. Samuel hasn't returned yet. I guess he is working late. "Young Miss Alice, we have a big problem!", shouted a terrified Sally as she came running into the hall. "Calm down, Sally. You're screaming bloody murder!", I said coming down with the luggage. "Young Master has left his documents at home!", she replied a little more calmly. It looks very important. Oh no! It'll be very bad for him. I'd better get it to him asap. "Okay, Let Lara send the luggage over to the company. I'll take the documents to him myself", I said, tugging at my jacket. I couldn't risk taking my car out over the slippery road so I just ran to the company. I took some of the cookies I baked.*****At the company*****
I arrived at the building, my breath coming out of my mouth and nose in white streams. Fortunately, the receptionist was an old man who knew I was Samuel's wife. I wouldn't have to flash the marriage registration certificate to the typical jealous receptionist. I quickly ran up the stairs since I couldn't wait for the elevator to come from the 27th floor. Lara told me his office was in the 53rd floor..... I'm so out of shape now. By the time I got to the 53rd floor, I was a complete mess. My face was red from cold and my hair was completely wind blown. I was dressed in a pair of black jeans, a simple white t shirt, black jacket and combat boots. I hate this building. The whole floor was for the use of the CEO, i.e., my dear hubby and had long, winding carpeted passages with several doors like meeting rooms, stock rooms, etc. This floor has way too many meeting rooms!I managed to find a frosted glass plaque which had CEO's Office embossed on it in bold italics. Before I could knock, the dark mahogany doors swung open with a bang. A woman dressed in an extremely tight business suit and high heels tottered out of the room. "Good evening, Ma'am, is Samuel there? I need to-", I began but she cut me off mid sentence. "Have you got an appointment?", she asked shortly. "No, but-" "How the hell did you even get in? And how dare you refer to boss by his first name?", she cut me off again. "I'm Alice, his wife. I just came here to give him important documents and some cookies that I baked", I replied smugly. "Hah~ So you're one of those fan girls who are desperate to get close to the boss. Let me tell you something, slut. That bitch Alice not allowed to enter the office. No one can steal CEO Ming can never become anyone's love! He belongs to us all!", she sneered and pushed me to the floor. How can this person treat him like a plaything? How can they insult someone they've never met? I just can't stand it. I got to my feet and ran towards the elevator, leaving the bag behind. I bumped into people were who were going to his office but I didn't bother to apologise to them and got into the elevator.
