"...Alpha. I would like to join up with the Alpha Team." Kitakami made her decision.

"Very well. You're going to be engaging coastal batteries and destroy weapon facilities. Good luck." Lo Yang reminded.

"You chose that mission because you knew there were plenty of easy targets didn't you buddy?" Ooi was curious of Kitakami's thought process.

"It's like you could read my mind. I guess I'm being a bit too predictable to you." Kitakami was surprised.

"No biggie. I can trust that you'll get us through the battle alive."

And so the operation began. As usual, the operation was like any other. All the two had to do was support their allies by achieving their mission objectives. They also had their allies assisting them and there were plenty in Alpha Team. For starters, their flotilla consisted of Hsien Yang, Shen Yang and flagship Tan Yang. Together, they had to destroy the guns on the beach head as well as other weapon storage facilities in order for the transports to make a landing on the beaches of Rizhao.

"Hey Kitakami, you hear me? Just look at the view. There's not much difference between the two Chinas from out here." Ooi said.

"In what way are they similar besides being both Chinese?" Kitakami asked.

"Well that's up for you to think."

"The Communist's defense line is just up ahead. Avoid enemy fire while knocking out their positions." Tan Yang commanded.

Kitakami and Ooi did their work and plowed their way through a few gunboats with gunfire. They then moved up ahead to attack the weapons facilities before having to retreat a bit when the coastal guns discovered their positions. For whatever reason, the battle was unusually calm for an area affected by war. Even Shen Yang noticed it.

"It looks pretty peaceful out there. I guess the only disturbance is us warmongers." She said.

Kitakami started to feel a bit guilty, but she knew she had a job to do.

"You should be making contact with the enemy defenses soon. Prepare to engage." Tan Yang noted.

"You hear that buddy? Let's make sure we get our artillery skills ready." Ooi told her sister.

"I also see a lot of defenseless base components there too. Destroying those targets will reward us a big sum." Kitakami was certain.

"That's the mercenary mindset you got there."

By now, the enemy has noticed their positions from nearby lookouts. The PLA scrambled in order to defend the beaches of the city.

"Ships have been spotted by our scouts. They have been identified as the Nationalist forces!" They reported.

"Where's the commander? Didn't he hear the warning?" One of the Communist units were confused.

"He said he was going to the lake this morning. I haven't seen him since." His squad mate remembered.

"Why did he disappear when we need him the most?! Engage the enemy!" Their platoon leader ordered.

It was clear, the Communist forces were unorganized at the moment, and will have issues struggling against the impending landing forces. Kitakami noticed some unarmed facilities and believed they were warehouses storing weapons.

"We're supposed to clean up the coast, but why don't we blow the crap outta those ugly facilities while we're at it?" She asked.

"Well it was part of our mission. We could be using those resou-" But Ooi was cut off because Kitakami went ahead and destroyed them. A lot of defenseless buildings were blown up from temporary shelters to fuel tanks. The ground units hurried to their positions to defend against the attackers.
