She's Not Going

Brook's P.O.V

"No disappearing acts buddy," Colin said to Justin.

After the whole finding Justin thing we went to go buy some pretzels. Colin let Justin go to play while we talked about grown up stuff.

Oh who am I kidding. If it were grown up stuff I wouldn't be here right now either.

"Okay I'm not buying you anymore food until you find Jake and Terrence Adams," Ally said to Colin as we started walking.

"If they were so perfect why didn't it work out in the first place?" Colin asked us.

"Well we made this pact that we would loose our virginity to each other. But we started to drift apart and in that time we broke the pact," I said.

"I know who you slept with but who did you break the pact to? Who could have possibly been better than Jake Adams and why aren't we looking for him?" Colin asked Ally.

"You already found him," Ally admitted.

"Gerry Perry? You lost your virginity to the puppeteer?" Colin asked laughing.

Ally nodded.

"I know I felt bad for him," she said.

"Wow I underestimated you that's amazing," Colin said, "That's my new favourite thing about you."

We all then laughed.

(Later that day)

Ally and I went to a restaurant to meet Daisy for lunch. We found her at a table for 4.

"Hey," We both said.

"Hi," Daisy replied.

"Is Eddie joining us?" I asked as we sat down.

"No, mom," Daisy said.

Ally and I both got up.

"Don't go," Daisy said.

"I can't have lunch with mom I didn't wash my hair," Ally said.

"And I'm not wearing my corset," I said.

"You can't even tell you guys look great," Daisy said.

"You haven't told mom dad's coming to the wedding have you?" Ally asked.

"No," Daisy stated.

"And that's why we're here?" I asked.

"Yes," Dasiy replied.

"And my hair doesn't look that great?" Ally asked.

"No," Daisy said.

I didn't bother asking about my waist.

"I can't tell her alone," Daisy pleaded.

"Fine," Ally and I gave in.

"Hi mummy!" Daisy exclaimed as mom came and gave her favourite a kiss.

"Hi mom," Ally said.

Mom kissed her and touched her hair. Go figure.

"Hey mother," I said.

She kissed me and whispered in my ear that I needed to suck in. I rolled my eyes.

"So the caterer called, how strict of a vegetarian is your boyfriend Rick, is he willing to eat a little chicken for one night?" mom asked Ally.

"No, Rick's not coming they broke up," Daisy said.

"Daisy!" Ally exclaimed.

"What not again!" Mom exclaimed.

"Dad's coming to the wedding," Ally blurted out.

"Ally!" Daisy exclaimed.

"Well, I guess it's a good time to mention that Scott isn't coming to the wedding cause he's gay," I said nonchalantly, she probably didn't even hear me.

"What! How could you do this to me?" mom asked Daisy.

"I'm not doing anything to you mom," Daisy tried to reason.

"Except making it impossible for me to come," mom said.

"You're not gonna come to my wedding?" Daisy asked in shock.

"Not if your father's coming I'm not," mom almost mumbled, "Maybe he could be Alison or Brooklyn's date? I'm sure they'll just have a lovely, lovely time."

Ally and I both looked at each other. We were both thinking the same thing. What's her problem?

Soon enough we had all finished eating. Mom left in a cab and the rest of us started walking. Ally and Daisy were having a discussion about how Ally needs to convince mom to come to the wedding.

I didn't really pay much attention. All I could think about was Colin.

I mean we had sex for fuck sake and he is a complete womanizer. Like what if I got something like herpes because of him?

"Brook. Brook!" Daisy yelled at me taking me out of my trance.

"What?" I asked.

"Ally just left to get a tan do you wanna come with me to my dress fitting?" she asked me.

"I wish I could but I have to... take a test," I said trying to hide the truth.

"What kind of a test?" she asked me.

I knew I couldn't lie to her, "A-a p-pregnancy test."

"OMG YOU HAD SEX AND DIDN'T TELL ME!" she exclaimed.

"Yes I was drunk I didn't know what I was doing and had a one night stand with my neighbour," I admitted.

"You slept with Ally!" she said gasping.

She was obviously joking.

"No, I slept with the guy who lived in front of me, his name is Colin," I said.

"Does he remember," she asked me.

"I don't think so but I can't be sure," I said.

"Well then I'll leave you to your business, text me the result," she said walking away.

I watched her as she left. I sighed, got into my car and drove to the pharmacy.

I bought a box of tests and made my way home.
