Margre woke up alone in bed that morning. She was worried that her beloved Christen had left her as her father left her mother. She quickly got up and searched the house, she finally found him in the kitchen with Claire.

"There you are!" said Margret relived.

"Where else would I be?" said Christen smileing

"...no where, I'm just glad your here."

"You didn't think I left you, did you?" asked Christen,

"I didn't want to, but thats how my mother found out.."  Margret said trying to hold back her tears.

Christen told Claire to play outside for a while, and he went to go comfort Claire.

"I could never leave you, I will never leave you." He held her close, trying to reashure her. Margret was only getting more worried. She never wanted to lose her family, she couldn't. Margret got up and picked up the old childrens book.

"Christen, I didn't tell you everything last night. When my father left, he left a note. the note said

"Don't forget." said Margret.

"Only my mother knew what the note ment, somtimes in her sleep she would mumble 'Don't leave me.' and then a few miniuets later, 'I wont forget' Anyways, One day...we lost the note. No one knew where it was, or atleast no one admited it.."

"What is that suposed to mean?" said Christen

"I found that note. It was inside a book."

"Maybe someone just left it there, as a mistake."

"I thought that too. But then, I saw what book it was. It was an old childrens book that my mother and father would read to me and Elois. My father left when I was 12, almost 13. We hadn't picked up that book in over 8 years..."

"Who would have put it there?" asked Christen a little antsy

"I don't know. But I need to find out."

   "What do you mean Margret?"

"I mean, I'm going to look for my father."

"Margret! What about us! What about our family? Claire can't grow up with out a mother! when will you come back?"

"Christen, I love you, and you cant ever forget that, but, I dont think I'll ever come back" Said Margret, tears streaming down her checks.

"Margret! I love you! I won't let you do this!"  Said Christen with mixed feelings

"I'm sorry, Find another girl! Find someone else! Someone who can be Claire's mother, who can cook and clean! Start a new family."

"Why Margret? Why would I ever want to replace you for anyone? Why would I want to start a new family, why would you want me to start a new family?"

"Because, I have to fix mine. My father could be out there! My mother was young when she died, if it hadnt been for the chicken pox she would still be here!"

"Margret, I dont want to lose you, don't leave me, let me come with you!"

"If you came with me who would care for Claire? This is a very dangerus mission I'm going on! You think I'm going to let my daughter come?"

"Please, don't go. I love you too much to lose you."

"Goodbye Christen. I will always love you."
