Margret left early the next morning. She got her stuff with inclued 2 pairs of jeans, a few tops, a jacket, her boots and a ring her mother gave her when she died. Margret had to pack light.
She was on her way out the door and she heard footsteps, it was Claire, her daughter. She was still in her PJ's and holding a teady bear that weighed about the same as she did.
"Mommy?" she said as she took baby steps tward Margret. "Where are you going?" Before Margret had time to answer she heard Christens soothing voice.
"Claire, it's ok, go back to bed I'll explain later." Said Christen to Claire.
"yes Daddy" said Claire as slowly went back to her room"
Christen held out a small bag to Margret.
"Whats this?" Asked Margret
"You did'nt think you could leave without eating did you?" Said Christen pulling out a 2 day old biscit.
Margret rushed over to Christen hugging him fighting back the tears
"I love you Christen." said Margret
"I love you too, Margret." said Christen
"Take care of Claire." Said Margret "Let her be a little girl for a while."
"I promise Margret" He kissed her cheak and handed her, her engagment ring as she was leaving. And before he knew it, she was gone.
