Elois's funereal was 3 days after her death, Margret was trieing not to let her life crumble apart like Elois's did. Especially in front of Claire. The last thing margret wanted was for Claire to grow us without a mother.

Margret was doing well about the cleaning an cooking, it relaxed her. In the mornings she would get up and make breakfeast, then she would go to clean up around the house, and make lunch, clean some more, make supper, and knit for Claire. Margret had to quite her job so Claire wouldn't be left alone.

One day, when Christen And Claire went for a walk, Margret was dusting, something she hadn't done in a while. While she was dusting, she recognized a book. She couldnt remember what it was from though. She grabbed it off the self and stared at it for a while. Not knowing what to do with it. Scared of what she might find inside this forgotten book. She slowly opened it. And as she did a piece of paper slipped out. She set the book down and picked it up. She couldn't belive what she was seeing. She had found the note her father left when he disappeared.

The paper was very wrinkly. The words were faded and the paper witch used to be a clean white was now a rusty brown. The edges on it were torn and you could see the creases that the paper was folded on. She looked at the paper carefully. And set it down to pick up the book it was hidden in.

"Now why was this long lost paper, in this childrens book?" said margret to herself. "my mother was so upset when she lost it, it was the last thing she had of my father. How could she have misedplaced it in here! She read to me and Elois when we were small, but by the time our father was gone, we hadn't picked up the book in years!" Margret was getting very confused, when she heard a door open. She quickly put the book back and slipped the note into her apron pocket.
