Dianne's POV:
I thought me and Joe were finally starting to become back to who we were again until he randomly started ignoring me and hasn't spoke to me since. Is it because of Aj? I don't even know where to begin with the possibilities. Guess I'll just have to talk to Chloe about them.
"Hey Chloe!" I say enthusiastically as we approach our studio together.
"What's up girl?" She replies, laughing at herself.
"Well, Joe's ignoring me again." I sigh,
"But other than that I'm good." I continue. She doesn't buy it and neither do I.
"What's happened this time?" She asks.
"We got into a fight about Aj. He still thinks somethings going on between us but it clearly isn't." I've never been so frustrated about anything.
"He might just be jealous." Chloe tries to reassure me, but I can't buy that.
"Oh yeah. That's why he decided to ruin his own life by using Connie. But it's okay because he was drunk." I mock, finally letting my anger out. Chloe still isn't too sure of what actually happened, but I know it all and I just can't forgive him yet.
"So why is Joe's love life anything to do with you?" She asks, honestly misunderstanding. We reach the studio and I reply that I'll let her know what went down later, if she's still up for it.
I wince upon seeing Aj, knowing what problems he's caused between me and Joe. If only life could be simple. Maybe we should've just stayed friends and nothing like this would ever be an issue. We ruined that fully healthy friendship for our own hearts that run wild. And then he ruined it all again. To my surprise, Zoe's car is outside the studio and she's picking me up. Does she not know what's been going on with me and her brother? Either way, I'm grateful for the lift.
"Hey!" I say as I get in. She smiles at me happily.
"Dianne, I have something I want to tell you." Zoe looks at me before buckling her seatbelt and driving off.
"What do you want to tell me?" I copy her actions and wait for some news.
"Joe doesn't know you're coming round to our house." She states like it's no big deal, never taking her eyes of the road.
"Please Zoe, don't take me there. Joe and I-we were over a long time ago." She chuckles to herself.
"Oh Dianne, if only that was true." I look at her, puzzled. Unless she knows something I don't, she's hardly right. She stops the car but does not leave.
"Dianne, do you remember when you always used to come over to our house? You would laugh with Joe for hours and it just seemed perfect. It was like the universe just knew you were supposed to be friends." I let a sob stifle its way out before composing myself again.
"Things change, Zoe. We ruined it for ourselves." She gently takes my hand, gaining my full attention.
"If there was any two people I would hope for to be friends for life, it would be you guys. You can't let one mistake defeat you Dianne. Fight for that boy with all your life. I think he'll surprise you." I sigh. I want to accept the gesture, but I'm afraid now. I've never been afraid of Joe ever but some things just change.I head into the room quietly as Zoe and Joe's Mum greets me.
"Joe, can you come down here please? I have a special guest." Zoe shouts. He heads down, rubbing his eyes. I'm staring but I can't help it."Hey." His face softens and I know I look scared.
"Let's sit." He tells me and I instantly flop to the couch. Here goes everything.A/N: Let's see what happens with a double upload...
