Miles's POV

It's been a month since Maya's party and people have been talking about her. I've had to stick up for her. it makes me sick to know what they are saying about the only girl I have every loved.

I saw Maya walk into an empty class room

A I hear a ton of boys talking about her

"Hey baby why don't you come and sit on my lap!" one of them says

"Hey Chica, I can't make you feel so much better than Miles ever did!"

"Screw you!" Maya said trying to walk away

One of the boys came up and groped her

"Let go of me!" Maya said trying to get away

"Come on babe, don't fight it! I can make sure your not a virgin anymore." the kid that was groping her said

I ran into the class room and punched the kid that was groping her in the face

"DONT YOU EVER DISRESPECT MAYA LIKE THAT AGAIN!" I yelled making the boys get up and run away

I looked back and got down of the floor next to were Maya was sitting

"Are you ok?" I asked putting my hand on her cheek

She pushed my hand away and mumbled a yes

"Look Maya, I'm so sorry. I was just angry that you were calling me out. I... didn't know that your ex killed himself that wasn't what Tristan told me." I said looking away

"I'm sorry too. I didn't know that you even knew about Cam so I just flipped out." Maya said quietly

"I still love you Maya." I said looking at her

"I know...I still love you too but I can't be with you." Maya said looking at me

"Why not?" I asked her

"Because you called me a slut, I mean that's what I am right?" Maya said standing up

"Maya your not a slut! I was wrong to say that! and I was never, ever going to pressure you into having sex with me! I wanted to wait till you were ready." I said standing up to see her

"Miles this...cant work." she said

I didn't say anything, I just kissed her.
