This song makes me want to dance^^

As Jamie pulled up to the cliff, I wondered what we were doing here. I was looking around when he parked the car and I hadn't even realized he had opened my door for me.

"Oh, thank you," I said with a little laugh as I got out of the car. I was walking across the gravel road and onto the grass when I felt a warm hand slip into mine. I turned back, surprised, but I said nothing. He smiled at me, flashing his pearly whites while I turned away and blushed. With his hand in mine, we walked through the somewhat dense forestry.

A twig grabbed at the exposed part of my ankle and I hissed, but didn't stop walking. Jamie didn't notice as a smile grew on his face. I squinted at him, unsure of what he was so happy about. Suddenly, we emerged from the forestry and I gasped.

In front of me, was a fully prepared picnic. Checkered blanket, basket, and a bouquet of flowers all accounted for. I turned to Jamie, smiling hugely. "What's all this for?" I asked him curiously, unable to get the smile off my face.

He shrugged, a small smile sitting on his lips. He ran a hand through his golden blonde hair, a boyish act that made me want to comb my fingers through it like I had before. My fingers actually starting twitching with desire, but I shoved them in my back pockets and waited.

I hadn't notice the shyness that had maneuvered onto his features as he looked anywhere but at me. "Well, I wanted our first real date to be a memorable one and I figured since you really seem to like this place that it would be a good place to do it. Plus, I don't have to wear my hood and since I'm so fucking hot I figured you enjoy that," he added cockily and I quirked a disapproving eyebrow with a small smile, "but I also enjoy this. That way I don't have to hide who I am. Not that I chose this place for me, I just thought you'd appreciate the privacy because I don't know how you feel about PDA yet and I didn't want to make you feel awkward or uncomfortable or anything-"

"Jamie-"

"-and I didn't know if you liked flowers or what you wanted to eat, or - oh my gosh, do you have allergies? I totally forgot to ask! Amy I'm so so-"

"Jamie," I tried again, my grin growing by the minute. "Could you just, let me get a word in please?"

"Oh, yeah, sorry. I'm just a little nervous," he confessed as if it wasn't obvious. Then again, so was I if I was being entirely honest. I was just doing a better job of hiding it.

"It's okay, it's kinda cute. Plus, no, I don't have allergies, flowers aren't really my thing but they're beautiful and I appreciate the gesture, and I'm sure I'll love whatever you packed." I looked up at him and watched him visibly relax. "C'mon, let's go sit."

"Wait, why don't you like flowers?" He asked, leading me to wonder if that was the only thing he'd heard.

I shrugged, "they die quickly I guess? Plus, you can't really do anything with them."

"So you'd rather chocolates then?" I laughed a little, my eyes flitting up to him.

"I suppose. You know what'd be great? Not getting me anything! You know, so I don't feel bad..." I trailed off as we sat down.

"Why would you feel bad?" He questioned, grabbing the picnic basket and opening it. It was a rather large basket and it seemed to jingle as he picked it up.

"Because. Even though I work, I might not have enough money to repay you. After all, I am saving for university," I informed him as he placed a pizza box in front of us, followed by some cups, juice, carrots, and two small bags of chips.

"You don't have to repay me. My brother is a pop star, remember?" He recalled somewhat bitterly.

"So? That doesn't stop me from feeling like shit," I explained, crossing my arms over my chest.
