Chapter 11:Katniss POV

I'm thinking mostly Katniss POV from now on

I wake up on Uriah's chest.I am carful not to wake him up.I check my phone.9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

I go upstairs to check on Ellie.The stairs creak on the way up,but Uri still sleeps.I get to Ellie but she is already awake,in her pink little pajamas.I pick her up and take her downstairs.Uri is awake so I ask him to hold her and he takes her.

I go upstairs and see that it looks pretty cold out. Gray clouds could very well mean snow.And then,flurries start to fall.I get dressed in my catwalk sweater,blue jeans,and black UGGs.I but on a black jacket and put my hair in a ponytail and put my hood over it.

"Thanks Uri."I say as I walk out the door.I walk to the back and on the sidewalk I see a young girl,maybe 8,shivering under a thin blanket.I run over."Why are you here?"I say."I ran away.My dad killed my mom,and..tried to kill me."she says."Oh.Thats very sad.Whats your name?"I ask."Clare." she says."Okay.You see that car there?You can go sit in the back."I tell Clare. I text Peeta.

Looks like we have another kid-K

Found 8 year old girl on streets...alone.

I can't just send her away.-K

I wait a few minutes and Peeta is here."Whats her name?"he asks. "Clare,her mom was murdered and her dad tried to kill her."I say."Okay."he says.I get in the car and Peeta gets in shotgun."Who's this?"Clare asks."Your new dad.Im your new mom."I say.She smiles.We drive to the mall and when we get there I give Clare 15 dollars to go to the food court.

Peeta and I buy her some clothes.I go to Old Navy and pick out a pair of shirts for me and Peeta.It said he thinks I'm crazy(On mine).His says I KNOW she's crazy.We pay for all our stuff and go to the food court.Clare sits at a table and eats a small sub from Subway.

We take her home.I tell her she can sleep on the couch until I make further arrangements.Peeta and I go into the kitchen."We can't keep her forever."he says."Why not?I can't send her away with her dad trying to kill her!"I almost yell.I go over and kiss him."Fine."he says.I giggle.I put some pillows on the couch and a blanket.I get Clare in some pajamas I got her and put her to bed.

I make sure Ellie's in bed the get into pajama's."Well,goodnight."Peeta says. "Wait,will you stay with me?"I ask. "Yeah."he says.We walk up to my bedroom.I put my head on his chest. Before I fall asleep,I hear him say "Always.".

I wake up and it's almost time for school."Peeta, we will be late if we don't get there soon."I say as I shake him awake.He finally gets up and I go to take a quick shower.I dress in a tee with a skull that has flowers,jean shorts,and white studded flats.I curl my hair loosely and put on lip gloss and mascara.

Peeta comes out in a faded blue tee and jeans.We call Trisha and leave for school.

Once we get there,I quickly grab my stuff and head for home room.The lesson already started."Katniss,finally you've arrived!"Mrs.Trinket says.I think she is the only teacher that still uses arrived."Sit down,sit down."she says.

I don't listen to her lesson,just study her style.Its awful futuristic.Puffy pink hair that sits on the top of her head,pink almost nude lips,bleached eyebrows,pink shirt,fuchsia blazer with,pouffy sleeves,fuchsia business skirt, pink heels,and a pink umbrella. Mr.Albenarthy hates her.I don't really blame him.

The rest of the day goes by in a blur until the principle calls the cheerleaders and three of the football players,which are Gale,Peeta,and Finnick.We all go down to the computer lab and sure enough, Principle Coin waits for us.

"You all have been chosen to take control of this years spirit week.Make sure it's smart.Go ahead and plan,then print out 20 flyers and post them around the school."she explains.We all nod and then she leaves.

All the cheerleaders look happy."What?"I ask."Should we tell her?"Tris asks."Lets tell her."Chrissy says."Katniss,I have resigned from being Captain,and you shall take the spot."Marlene says."What that's awesome!"I say!Everyone cheers and I kiss Peeta on the cheek.Gale and Finnick look hurt.I throw them a smile.

I sit down at a computer and get started.

Monday-Nerd/Geek look.

Tuesday-Band/Singer day.

Wensday-Wacky day.

Thursday-Superhero day.

Friday-White,green,and yellow day. (Team colors)

I print out 20 and we each set out to post them.Finnick follows me."Finnick what do you want?"I ask."I...um.... I wanted to ask you something."he says."What?"I say,slightly annoyed. "Katniss,I like you.Not like friend like, Like love like."he says."Finnick,you are hot and whatever,but I have two kids with Peeta and I can't that easily leave him."I say.

I post a flyer and walk away.Then I start thinking,who else loves me,and what would they go through to get me?
