Chapter 17

I get to the bar."Im just gonna get drunk tonight and be crazy like always."I say to Clove.Tonight was her birthday,and she wanted to live the 21 life.So here we are.

I start off with 3 beers,then go to shots.

After we finish we all head home.Me and Peeta walk home.Once we get there,me and Peeta start kissing.

He pushes me over to the couch and I push him down.I lay on top and kiss him.I pull his shirt off and feel his chest.He scrapes his tongue over my lips and I let him in.

He pulls off my shirt and we just sit there and kiss for awhile and then he unclasps my bra,my small breasts sitting there.

I wake up next to Peeta,thinking I'm late for school.But,I forgot I'm out of high school.I get up and put my clothes back on.

I go upstairs and look in the mirror,I look like a fucking hot mess.Smudged mascara,tangled hair,pink lipstick.I then remembered me and Peeta had sex last night...again.

I look under the sink and find a spare pregnancy test.I do what I need to do and the tiny - comes up."Thank god."I whisper to myself.

A month later

I get up out of bed and Peeta barges in my room."Good morning beautiful!Its your 17 birthday!"he says.I forgot my own birthday."Oh yeah."I say."Finnick's throwing a party tonight for ya."he says."Cool."I say.

I get out of bed and I see a text from Clove.

I turn my phone off."Everyone is coming later for gifts."Peeta says.If only the other half of the gang would be here.Instead they went to Texas for the summer.

For the rest of the day,Peeta and me watch movies and stuff.Prim went to a sleepover with Rue,and Clare and Ella went to Trisha's.

I hear a knock on the door."Its unlocked!"I yell.Clove barges in with everyone behind her."Happy birthday!" she yells.They each have a gift wrapped for me.

They set up the gifts on the kitchen table and we watch a movie."What are we watching?"They ask."Fault in our Stars."I say.I put it in an dance it's like 2:00 p.m. I go to make smoothies.

I hear things like "why?why!" and "she was a grenade!".I giggle to myself.I finish the smoothies and call everyone in.They each come in and drink their smoothies,then run back out.Peeta stays put.

"You don't seem to happy."he says."Im not."I reply while I put the blender back."Why?"he asks."Do you really have to know?""Yes.Yes I do."he pushes."Fine,I'm like this every birthday because on my 13 birthday my dad actually made me leave.Literally.I had to live at Clove's for a month before they let me back."I explain.

He stands there speechless."Sad huh?"I say.He hugs me."No one will let that happen again."Peeta whispers into my hair."Gifts!!!"Annie calls out from the living room.

I walk out and everyone is sitting on the floor.I open the gifts.(Here's the list)

Annie-A shirt from Ocean City.

Finnick-a seashell headband.

Johanna-A book called Looking For Alaska.

Clove-A $25 gift card to Starbucks

Cato-Tickets for two to a Ariana Grande concert.

Marvel-A green dress

Glimmer-Sparkly flats.

Thresh-CANDY

Rue-A necklace

Peeta-A little puppy.

I squealed when he gave me a small Fox Terrior."What are you gonna name it?"he asked."Lilo."I replied.I held him in my lap since he was so small.

I hear a knock on the door and Peeta goes to answer it."Oh hey mom.Hey dad."He says.Walking in come his parents.

"We bought you a gift too Katniss."they said."You and all your friends are going to California!"she says.
