Chapter 8:Katniss POV

I wake up and Trisha is here."What?"I say."Your late for school,its 8:30."Shit.I hurry up and take a five minute showers.I brush my hair and leave it down.I put on a pink shirt,white skinny jeans,pink flats,and a crop leather jacket.

I grab my car keys and get in my car.I drive to school and park it.I run through the doors.I bump into someone and a sharp pain hits my collarbone."Ouch!"I say as I fall to the floor.

I stand up and see a blond girl in a purple crop top,jeans,and black high tops.She has a tattoo of three ravens on her collarbone."Oh my god I'm so sorry!"She says trying to help my up.She drops all of her papers in the process."Shit."she says.

I help her."Tris."she says extending a hand."Katniss."I say shaking it.

The rest of the day is a blur.

I walk to the gym.Tris is up at the table with Christina,Shauna,Merlene,and Lynn.The football team is at the table on the right.Peeta,Finnick,Uriah,Zeke, Tobias,Cato,Marvel,Gale,and Thresh.I start to get nervous.And,what the hell,most of the football guys are hot.And I'm good friends with them and the cheerleading squad.Tris introduced me.

"You have 2 minutes to do a routine.Go"Chrissy says.Tris hits play on the stero.Last Friday Night blares from the speakers.

Let's just say I made the team.

Everyone is at my house.Peeta sits next to me."Katniss truth or dare."Shauna asks me."Dare,I ain't no Pansycake."I say.Tris,Chrissy,Uriah,and Finnick laugh."I dare you to play 7 minutes in heaven with Gale.

(aha,🎶Gale or Peeta?🎶)

"Ok."I say.Gale shrugs.Peeta looks worried."Its fine bro.Me and tris have been through this lots."Tobias says to Peeta.Tris sticks her tongue out at him.

I get up and go to my walk in closet with Gale behind me.Im sure the game goes on.The first minute is awkward scilence.The next he fits his lips to mine.

I find myself kissing back.
