Chapter 12:Katniss POV

I try to sleep,even though it's pointless.I have dreams that Gale would try to kill or Finnick try to rape.I don't have anyone to talk to that won't laugh. It's hard to understand.Im sure I don't.

I try to get up.I put my feet on the cold floor and slide them into my slippers.I put on a sweatshirt and walk downstairs.Peeta is on the couch with Ellie and Clare watching Micky the Mouse.

Peeta gives Ellie to Clare and follows me into the kitchen.I pour milk into the blender."Whats wrong.l?"he asks."Nothing."I asnwer.I put the milk down and he comes to me.He puts his hands on my waist and puts his waist on my butt."Peeta!Please!"I scream.He moves away,looking hurt."You used to love that.No tell me what's wrong."he says.

"Just go away.Please."I say as I put strawberry a in."Tell me now."he says. "No,go away."I say."Tell me what it is Katniss!Now!"he yells.I turn around and look at him.He has a hard expression on his face.

I start crying."Katniss,I didn't mean to hurt you.But you need to tell me."he says."Fine,Gale kissed me when we were dared to play 7 minutes in heaven. Yesterday,Finnick told me he loved me. And now I'm scared they are going to try to hold me against you."I say.

"They won't hurt you or me.They can never touch you."

I walk into the mall with Peeta for Spirit week.For nerdy day,I choose a plaid tee button down,black suspenders,white jean shorts,black converse,and plaid fake glasses.For band or singer day,I choose Demi Lavato.I buy a leather jacket,skull tee,black jeans,original UGGs,bangles, and Hot Huez.

For Wacky day,I choose a pink shirt that has a unicorn puking rainbows, rainbow tie dye shorts,knee high lace up converse boots,black glasses with a mustache hanging on a chain,and confetti.Superhero day,I chose a batman shirt,a piece of black cloth,an iron on Batman symbol,black jeans, black combat boots,and a black beanie.

And last for team day I choose white shorts with yellow on the ends,a green shirt with a shamrock,and brand new yellow flats.I also choose white feather bracelets.

I meet up with Peeta and he chooses almost all the same things as me.He chose suspenders and glasses,batman, a fake mustache, chooses Harry Styles from 1D,and a yellow shirt,white pants, and green shoes.We pay for our stuff then leave.

When we get home we tell Trisha to go home.Peeta asks me to come to the living room after I change.When I get downstairs,everyone is down there,including the kids.Peeta stands up and offers his seat on the couch to me.

I sit down and look confused."Katniss,I want our love to eternal."he says."Peeta, we are to young to get married."I respond."No not that,just this."he says.He hands me a box.I open it and inside is a metal cuff that says girl on fire and a promise ring that says always.

"Oh Peeta!"I say.I get up and hug him. He makes dinner and I make smoothies for dessert.Then we put Clare and Ellie to bed.Peeta and I watch The Walking Dead for awhile,I drift to sleep in his arms.

I wake up to a phone call. from Tobias. "Katniss,oh my god I don't know what to do!"he says.I swear he is crying. "Wait,calm down,what happened?"I ask."Tris passed out and I don't know what to do!"he says.I hang up.

I shake Peeta awake."We need to get to Tris'."I say."What about the kids?"he says."Leave your phone here for Clare."I say.We put on sweatshirts and shoes and drive to Tris'.

When we get there Tris is on the floor in the living room,Tobias and Christina are on the couch crying,the ambulance parks,all the guys are talking,and the girls try to make sense.The doctors come in and take Tris,but stay until they ask Tobias.He refuses to answer so they come to me.

"All I know is she passed out."I say.They take me and Peeta,Tobias,and Christina on the ride.When we get there it's just a matter of waiting.
