Chapter 19- Gunshots

Dalliyann POV

* 2 weeks later *

I head out to work because i have no choice . Even though i feel dead on the inside . Work goes slow as hell but my boss Xenia lets me off early due to the circumstances. Its been days since i've talked to anyone , i guess i been avoiding them all .

As i just sit there in the parking lot , i hear a tap on my window its Alaysha i unlock the car door and she gets in .

" hey " she says

I just look at her unable to talk , i know i mist look at mess

" i know you wanna be left alone ..... But i just wanted to say hi and let you know i love you . " she says , she gave me a hug and blew a kiss at me and ran into the mall ,

I guess they called her in since i left early . I start up the car and head home .

Alaysha's POV

These two past weeks has been great and horrible . My relationship with Kaylab has blossomed into an actual relationship , he is now my boyfriend but in the same palm i still see Saiyer on the side occasionally . Me and Kaylab don't have sex yet which is amazing so i know he really likes me for me but me and Saiyer do . I guess you could say Saiyer is really my side nigga now but anyway , me and Dalliyann haven't been talking for two weeks , mostly because of what happened with Zanee and i understand . I just wish she would open up to me more about the situation , so she wouldn't have to feel alone .

At work i do nicely and finish around 9pm so i close up the shop and get a call from Saiyer .

*phone call*

" hey " he says

" hey baby " i say sweetly

" what are you doing tonight ?" He asks

" nothing , why ?" I ask curiously

" i want to take you out ..."

" where to ? "

" its surprise . I"ll stop by your place around 11 , be ready love ."

He hangs up

* phone conversation ends *

I rush home and take a shower and do my hair and get dressed into a semi-formal purple dress thats open in the back with black pumps. I hear a knock on my door , assuming its Saiyer a little early so i answer . Its really Kaylab . He lets himself in .

" hey baby" he gives me a kiss " you look good "

" thanks " i say shyly , trying to smile but too nervous too

" where you about to go ?" He asks

" out ... With the girls !" I say impulsively

" oh okay ... I'll be out your way " he gives me another kiss " see you later , call me when you get home " he leaves out

I sigh in relief and get a text from Saiyer telling me to come outside . I turn off all the lights in my apartment and lock my door then head outside . I let myself in lnto Saiyers car , he kisses me on the cheek .

" you look stunning " he smiles and pulls out the drive way

" thank you , you look good yourself "

" so i saw Kaylab as i pulled in the drive way -"

" did he see you ?" I looked at him nervously

" nope ." He smiled " calm down babe . " he laughed as he rubbed my back

I felt like i was going to be sick , I'm not the one to be running around being unloyal .... Unfaithful ... I just , I just cant let go of Saiyer but i don't want to let go of Kaylab ethier . I sit in the car thinking then Saiyer pulls up to this club .

He comes to my side of the car and lets me out ..

" thank you " i say and he takes me by the hand and helps me out the car .

When we get into the club we danced and drank and ate ! I had a lot of fun with Saiyer . As we were about to leave we heard gunshots though .

" get down !" Yelled Saiyer

, i listened.

We tried to crawl to the car but outside i heard gunshots again . When they stopped i climb into the car but Saiyer wasn't in the car . When i got outside the car i saw blood spouting from underneath the car , i took out my phone and called 9-1-1 .

It took them about ten minutes to get there and when they finally did i had Saiyer in my arms .

" it"ll be okay baby ! It"ll be okay " i kept repeating

They put him on the stretcher and i told them i would meet them at the hospital . Before i got into the car , in the corner of my eye i saw ... Kaylab and his friend Mike .

" oh my god" i muttered to myself then tears started to flow down my face and i hurried into the car and drove to the hospital .

I know who shot Saiyer .

I feel all these feelings at once as i run through the hospital parking lot trying to get to Saiyer's room . It almost feelings like slow motion. Tears flood dow my face . I know i should've never been unfaithful but i just wanted to do what was done to me , cheating wasn't me , it wasn't me .

I finally reached the front desk out of breath i still manage to get out "Saiyer Mahoni ,".

" room -"

She was interrupted by another Woman with long black hair and brown skin

"Saiyer Mahoni " she says

" room 326" the lady at the front desk says, She makes her way to the elevator .

I just stand there wondering who this bitch is. I call Dalliyann but i remember how late it is and hang up . In my frustration and my out of breath state i sit there in the waiting room waiting for the other women to come back down...

I mustve waited in the waiting room for only 30-45 mintues . Soon as that women came down I went up .

When i got to his room , he was already looking at the door way .

" Saiyer ?" I say wondering if he was okay

" what took you so long ?" He asks in a silent almost whisper , he starts to cough

" who was up here before me?" I ask then shake my head " you haven't changed yet , huh?" I say sitting in the chair next to his bed

He sat there in silence and just stared at the Tv. He was dating that woman .... I knew it .

" well...-" I start to laugh

" lets not even act like you don't have Kaylab , don't hit me with that 'well' bullshit Alaysha -"

" but you knew about him! You knew i was trying to decide between you two " i begin to cry " i never wouldve left you in the dark about it! I love you too much ! I want you in my life !" I get up and throw the chair against the wall " but your the same damn sneaky ass cheater !" I walk out the room

As i make my way to the elevator i hear Saiyer call after me but by that time the Woman with the black hair came back ... Now hes' her problem...
