Chapter 43:The end

Alaysha's POV

I wake up with the twins in my arms and start to miss my baby . So i text Nahseem and tell him that I'm going to my house with the twins .

So i get them washed up, dressed and fed ; then put them into the car. I drive off and get home around 9am .

Dalliyann's POV

I was able to get out if jail but question now is , where to go ? Where to hide?

I walk through this heavy forested area for hours just thinking about my babies and Nahseem. I start going crazy and drop to my knees .

First i lost Zanee then my life ... Then everything else ... I might as well give up and Just lay here ... And thats what i did . I lay here in this forest and the the earth consume me .

An hour or so , i wake up to the noise of footsteps rustling behind me .

" oh my god , the found me ." I mumble to myself , i start to run

Alaysha's POV

Phone rings i answer , its Nahseem

*phone conversation *

" they're chasing her now !"

" okay okay , ima leave the kids with Amyra . Im on my way now !"

* conversation ends *

I run to the car and of course Saiyer pulls up in a cab , before he can even start i tell him to get in the car and he listens . As i speed through trying to get to the jail , i explain why i haven't been answering and whats happening with Dalliyann .

We get to the jail in about 10 minutes , when it should've took 40 . Me and Saiyer run out the car and we see Nahseem run out the Jail tears running down his face .

" what .. What happened ?!" I stuttered

All choked up and unable to breathe he slowly chokes out " they killed her ." Nahseem looks up at me and i look at Saiyer .

Everything in that point in time seems to be in slow motion , i drop to my knees and scream but i cant even hear myself scream , i feel Saiyer rub my back but i still feel as if i'm alone . Tears start to blur my vision and i fall out into Saiyer arms and he tries to carry me to the car .

" get off me , get off me !!!" I scream and kick , Saiyer tries to calm me down as tears fall from his face , so does Nahseem .

The scene blacks out ..... They killed my best friend .

* 2years later *

" happy birthday dear Auntie ! Happy birthday to you !" Screams Michael , still not understanding the concept of singing .

We sit at Dalliyann's tombstone at the graveyard. I tell Michael , Jordan and Jermaine stories about me and Dalliyann . As i tell then Saiyer rubs my back , it becomes less and less hard to talk about dalliyann .

I been taking care of all three children ever since Dalliyann died because shortly after , Nahseem ... Took his own life , saying he wanted to join her at the glory gates . I understand the thought but not the choice .

I remember telling Dalliyann i would always take care of her

* flash back *

Dalliyann cuts me off " We got kicked out our apartment . Quashawn left me in all this Debt Alaysha. " she starts to slow down , trying not to cry " my momma dead , iont got her no mo Alaysha! I got nobody !"

I hug her and she leans her head into my chest. " we got an extra bedroom and we have a pullout couch in the same room . You can stay here until you can get back on your feet Dalli."

She looked at me and gave me a kiss on my forehead . " i love you " she cried

" i love you too" i say

* end of flashback *

Now she got somebodies , Jordan and Jermaine ... And i will take care of them ... Like my own because their mother can no longer stand on her feet , she"ll never again .
