PoyoBound: A Kirby & EarthBound Crossover Story [ON HOLD]

Chapter 1 - An Unexpected Surprise

It was a normal day in Dream Land; the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and Kirby was having his usual nap under his favorite tree. He was having magnificent dreams of desserts and colorful stars in the universe. However, his sleep was interrupted from a small noise.

(Swish!)

"Wah!"

The pink puffball hopped up, ready for action from the sudden sound. He looked all around him to realize...it was a small arrow, that was shot into the tree, with a piece of paper on it.

"Poyo?"

Kirby jumped up, pulling the arrow out the bark and slid the paper off to read it.

Hey, Kirby!

It's me, Bandana Waddle Dee! Sorry if I interrupted your nap, but I found this really cool looking machine here and I wanted you to see it! Maybe we can even find someone around here who can work it! I also got us some sweet snacks!

"Poyo!"

Kirby's blue eyes grew in awe from the snack bit, though the machine part did raise his curiosity as well...not as much as the snacks, but it was there. Since Bandana Dee's place was a bit far, the puffball decided to use a Warp Star he conveniently saved as a bubble in his gut. He inhaled, causing the bubble to rise out his mouth. With a quick pop, Kirby hopped on and flew all the way to Dee's place...

(Meanwhile...)

Somewhere within the Gamble Galaxy, which was the home to Planet Popstar, there were hundreds of flying saucers on the hunt for an important lost item. Many extraterrestrials were flying the ships, taking orders, giving orders, and marching around the facility. The aliens in charge were gray, tall and thin with long tails, pointy ears, and giant, opaque black eyes. The others that were taking orders, piloting, and marching about were tall and metallic, having black visors instead of eyes and a large triangle symbol visible on their chests.

"Sir, we've been looking for days, and we haven't found it! We've looked in the Andromeda Galaxy, the Lightway Galaxy, and the Milky Way Galaxy is now devoid of life, so what makes this one any different? We should just retreat and find some other way to-"

"Have you lost your mind? If we do that, we would lose, and we will be just like our lost warlord! Plus, without that machine, we will never be able to save him again..."

"M-My most apologies, sir..."

"Sir, we found it! The machine is on this alien planet...Planet Popstar...?"

"Excellent job!"

"We should be careful, sir. I've heard stories of this backwater planet, and how a very powerful creature lives there and protects the civilians."

"Hopefully, the inhabitants here won't be as stubborn as those...Earthlings...making our task much easier...and if we do encounter this...'powerful creature'...we have PSI as our weapon, and no living being ever surpasses our psychic power levels..."
