Some time later, Kirby arrived, carefully stopping before crashing the star into the wall; he's gonna need some sort of way back home, after all.

(knock knock knock!)

"Coming!" A youthful voice was heard on the other side of the door. While waiting, Kirby took a look up at the sky...it was it's usual self with all the stars and clouds, though...there was a little twinkle that was never there before...

"...poyo?"

The front door squeaked as it opened.

"Heya, Kirby!" Bandana Dee smiled with his hazel brown eyes while holding a plate of treats above his head.

"Hi!" Kirby smiled back and gave a little wave.

"You ready to go see this machine?"

"Poyo," the puffball replied and gave an enthusiastic nod.

The two little puffs walked around the house towards the back. There, they found the strange machine. It was a silver sphere with some interesting features on it. It appeared to have a face, since there were two dots and a big sphere on the side, indicating a large nose. There was an assortment of black rings on the side as well, and on the top was a metal antenna in the shape of a bow.

"This thing fell out of the sky this morning, and I almost had a heart attack!" Bandana Dee exclaimed as he reached for a soda bottle, "I'm at least glad that it didn't destroy my house or my small garden..."

Kirby looked back at the small flowers planted around the little house, then back at the orange puffball.

"Poyo..."

"I wonder where it came from, too...I've definitely never seen anything like it before, and I wonder if there's anyone around here who could possibly know how to work it."

As the two ate their snacks and wondered on who to talk to about this, Kirby looked up at the sky again. The twinkle he saw was bigger now...

"What's wrong, Kirby?" The Waddle Dee asked, wiping frosting off his cheeks.

"Poyo..."

The twinkle was shining all sorts of colors, and the sounds of sirens could be faintly heard.

"Huh...doesn't seem to be a star, Kirby...it might be a spaceship, the Halberd's probably flying up above us."

As the two were looking, a loud bang came from the machine. Kirby and Bandana Dee jumped from the noise.

"Oh my spears!"

More bangs were heard, along with someone's voice.

"I knew this wasn't going to work 100% correctly, I should've given myself more time..."

"Kirby, stay here," said Bandana Dee, "I'll go get my spear. Let me know if something happens while I'm gone, alright?"

"Poyo."

"Good, I'll be right back."

The little Waddle Dee ran back inside his house. As Kirby looked up, he remembered his emergency sword he was storing inside his stomach as well. With a quick inhale, another bubble emerged from his mouth, a hat and sword inside.

One pop later, and Kirby had his sword ability; he ran and stood on top of the machine, readying his weapon.

"Now I'm probably on an alien planet, nowhere near Earth! But I'm not going to get very far inside this machine, am I?!"

(BANG!)

A door of the machine flew open, a fist appearing inside.

"Poyo, poyo, POYO!!!" Kirby shouted, running towards the machine.

"Coming!"

Quickly, Bandana Dee drifted his feet across the ground and ran to the back, his spear in his stubby hand. The two held their pointy weapons over the empty black hole.

"Who are you," Bandana Dee asked angrily, "And how did you get here?"

Suddenly, an old man's head popped out of the hole, turning towards the two.

"Oh, hello there!"

"Eh?" The two puffed asked in confusion.
