Chapter Eleven: Sleepovers' and fighting?
"You arranged a sleepover for me and a girl I just met?!" I yell exasperated as I fail my arms in the air with a sheen on sweat forming at the crease in my forehead.
"She's new here and we're not exactly sure what she's capable and you are, after all, the strongest student we have-," my grandfather started before I cut him off abruptly.
"Wait, wait, wait. So, I'm basically babysitting someone because if she turns out bad I could handle her the best?" I ask as my face twists down into an annoyed expression.
He rubs the back of his head with his abnormally large hand and lets out a sigh of annoyance at how uncooperative I am. "Koori, you are so stubborn just like your father, ya'know that?" He asks and I nod vaguely.
"Listen, just be nice to her and keep an eye on her. What's the worse that can happen?" He asks.
"She burns the house down and ruins my father's many long years of dedication and labor to make it absolutely symmetrical," a say matter-of-factually.
A sweat drop slithers down my grandpa's face and he replies, "right, well, you better should start heading out, kiddo'. She will be at your house in thirty minutes."
"WHAT?!"

Nova and Mason will be arriving soon, I think to myself as I pace around the living room near the front door. What if they're boring, or worse- experiment on me while I'm sleeping and make my body asymmetrical.
I start to pace even faster but suddenly get stopped by Kurisu's arms wrapping around my waist and holding my body still. "Calm down, Koori," he whispers in my ear and his words strangely make my body less tense.
"You're right," I sigh.
"I know I am," he says with a smug smile while a drop of sweat rolled down my forehead. "Now, I'm going to go change," he says before disappearing down the hallway.
I shift from foot to foot uncomfortably while I wait for Kurisu to get back. I don't want to open the door without him next to me incase Nova and her partner decide to pull something on me. My luck quickly ran out when I hear laughing outside.
The laughter abruptly stops once I open the front door. Nova and a guy next to her, who I am assuming is Mason, are on the other side of the door starring at me. "Hey, Nova, and this must be your partner?" I greet as Nova skims over my outfit.
I'm wearing symmetrical black silk pants with a symmetrical silk tan top that was a sea blue color.
"Nice to meet you, Koori. I'm mason," the guy next to her says as he gently engulfs me in a hug. I let my arms hang to my sides as I uncomfortably tense up in his embrace. Nova must've notice my discomfort because she taps his back and he automatically lets go.
"I heard some laughing so I thought I would come to check it out, but anyways it's nice meeting you for the first time, Mason. Come on in," I say while opening the front door for them.
They both step inside and I close the door behind them. I turn around to find them both scanning my house with the same awestruck expression on their face. An amused smile finds itself on my lips at their reaction.
"I love your home, Koori," nova says still in shock.
"It's not my home," I say with a tiny shrug of my shoulders. "I just live here with my dad but he is 888 percent okay with you guys staying the night."
