ethan, standing right there, talking to another girl? what a dick honestly
"keep on walking, act like you forgot he existed" hannah suggested
"you're right. pretend he doesn't exist." i took a deep breath and we went to go find some seats, but of course the only seats available were the ones literally 10 feet away from ethan, it's fine. whatever. he probably hasn't even seen me yet because he's too busy talking to another girl. we sat down and some person came and asked us if we wanted a drink
"we're good, thanks" i say, he nodded and left. ugh this was a bad idea, i don't even like party's, it would have been so much easier to just post a bikini pic on instagram to make him want me back. i was zoning out on my phone when hannah said "hey look a cute guy is looking at you, go talk to him!"
"um i don't know" i said "i'm too much of a pussy haha" i added
"if u don't go for it i will" said ellie
"ugh fine. you guys owe me" i said as i was getting up.
when i got over there he immediately turned his attention to me "hey" he said with a wink "hi" i said ew i'm so awkward i thought. i looked behind his shoulder to look for my friends for reassurance, they gave me a thumbs up and a wink, i had to smirk
"so can i get you a drink?" the guy asked "oh and my name is chase, by the way"
"nice to meet you, and my name is emma, and no thank you, i don't drink"
"no problem, wanna dance?"
"okay" i said with a giggle, he took my hand and lead me to where people were dancing.
after about 20 minutes of that, he asked for my number and asked if we could go out for coffee sometime
"definitely" i said and headed back to my friends. i walked past ethan and i could tell he saw everything, so i flipped my hair and gave him a smirk, he clenched his jaw. hah. got him.
"woohoo!!!" ellie and hannah yelled, i gave them high fives and we just talked for the rest of the time.
