~ Fred's P.O.V. ~

(This is the same night as the Room of Requirements.)

I watched as (Y/n) disappeared around the corner, the last thing visible was her hair as it flowed behind her.

"What did I walk in on in the Room of Requirements?" George asked.

"Shut up! She might hear you!" I exclaimed as I looked over at my brother.

We waited in silence for a few moments before George tried again.

"Well, we were just moving closer to each other while we told each other compliments," I responded to him the second time.

He squealed like a girl and jumped around the room.

"I swear, sometimes you can act like a girl. And you're a Diva Queen. Scratch that, you're the Diva Queen," I said while laughing slightly.

"I am not! I can't believe you sometimes! You know what, I'm just not going to talk to you until you apologize," he said while turning away. I waited a few second before realization spread across his features.

"Oh... em... GEE! I am the Diva Queen! If anybody finds out my reputation will be ruined!" he says, slightly raising his voice. I just laughed again.

"Now, back to what we were originally discussing. Maybe (Y/n) was just caught up in the heat of the moment," I said, hoping George would reassure me and tell me everything was going to be ok.

"Maybe. You never know with girls. She could actually like you, or she could have just been, like you said, caught up in the heat of the moment," he responded, instantly lowering my hope and my self esteem... and maybe my ego.

"Wow, thanks for the confidence boost," I stated sarcastically.

He laughed and responded with, "No problem! That's what brothers are for, right?"

I just rolled my eyes and walked up the stairs of the boys dorm to go to sleep.

After getting ready for the day, Hermione and I started to walk down to the Great Hall for breakfast.

"So, how did last night go? Did you two kiss?" Hermione asked excitedly.

"Nothing happened between us," I stated staring straight ahead.

"Don't bother hiding it, (Y/n). I know you're lying, and you know I'm going to find out eventually, so why not just get it out of the way and tell me now!" she exclaimed.

"Alright, alright. The only two things that happened was 1) Fred held my hand when we were walking around the castle and 2) When we got to the room to start thinking about pranking ideas, George wasn't there yet because we split up to better our chances of not getting caught. Before George arrived, we were telling each other compliments and moving closer to each other. But George came running in and ruined our moment. But for the first one, I think Fred was just doing that so I didn't get lost. And for the second one, he probably wasn't thinking and doesn't even like me. You know, like a heat of the moment type of thing?" I stammered out really fast.

Hermione nodded along, which perplexed me since I couldn't understand myself, so how was she understanding me?

"Fred totally likes you, (Y/n)! Those are all clear indications that he does!" Hermiome said and giggled.

"Whatever. You're probably not thinking straight today, because there is no way he likes me. Can we drop it, now?" I asked as we entered the Great Hall.

She nodded and sat down at the Gryffindor table to eat, with me sitting next to her.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I walked outside to the Hogwarts field for our flying lessons. Upon arrival, I noticed that we would be sharing this class with the Slytherins, who would put down Gryffindor every chance they got. Soon Madam Hooch came onto the field and told us what to do.
