News spreads fast in Hogwarts. Lunch had only just ended and I could already here whispers in the hall about Harry and I being on the Quidditch team.

"They could at least be a bit more discreet," I whispered to Harry as people very clearly stared at us and gossiped.

"It's fine. At least it's for something good and not bad," he told me.

"Well, still. They don't have to be so obviou-" just as I was responding I was cut off by two very familiar ginger twins.

"Hey, well done you two! Wood's just told us you're going to be on the Quidditch team," George said.

"Yeah, as our replacement Seeker and Chaser," Fred added.

"Well thanks for thinking of us as replacements instead of warmly welcoming us to the team," I responded with a roll of my eyes.

"You know we would never do that," George said.

"We truly think of you as a valued member of the team," Fred, once again, added on to his brothers statement.

"Which team? Quidditch or pranks?" I asked.

They shared a glance, "Both."

I sighed and continued walking to my next class with Harry still beside me.

"We're beaters, by the way," Fred said. I looked at him weirdly, "On the Quidditch team, duh."

"Our job is to make sure you guys don't get bloodied up to much," George informed.

"How reassuring," Harry glanced at me, but I just shook my head to remind him that they're only joking... I think.

"Can't make any promises, though. Quidditch is a rough game," George continued.

"Brutal, but, no ones died in years. Someone will vanish occasionally," Fred said.

"But they'll turn up in a month or two!!" George yelled after us as we departed.

We met up with Ron shortly after.

"I've just heard that you two will be on the Quidditch team! Fred and George are-" he started.

"Yeah, we know. Oliver told us. And Fred and George reminded us," Harry informed.

"Well, that must make you the youngest seekers in... in," he again didn't finish.

"A century, according to McGonagall," I provided.

"Yeah, but Quidditch seems kinda intense," Harry reminded us.

"Oh, come on guys! Quidditch is great! Best game there is! And you'll be great too!" Ron exclaimed.

"But we've never even played Quidditch! What if one of us makes a fool of ourselves," I asked, worried.

Hermione had run up to us by that point to talk to me about how Harry and I had gotten on the Quidditch team, miraculously.

"You won't make a fool of yourself. It's in your blood," we turned to look at her strangely.

She sighed, "Follow me, then."

We finally stopped walking in front of what looked to be a trophy case.

"Woah," Ron said.

Harry and I turned to look at each other and smiled.

"Harry, (Y/n), you never told me your father was a seeker, too! And that your mum was a chaser!" Ron exclaimed.

"We... didn't know," we said at the same time, astonished.

What we were standing in front of was a bookcase dedicated to famous Gryffindor Quidditch players through Hogwarts' history. And right at the front were two badges, identical in size. One had the name "James Potter" with the word Seeker across the top. The other said "Lily Evans" with the word written Chaser above it. They both had the same year on them: 1972. Probably when they graduated or something.
