Will emerged in Nico's bedroom after he tugged the younger into the shadows before he could warn him not to. His knees buckled and his body went limp. Will caught him before he could collapse onto the hard stone floor.

"Oh, sunshine," He whispered, watching helplessly as his eyes closed and his breathing began to steady. The son of Apollo picked him up gently and set him on the bed before running to the stash of Nectar and Amberosia. He propped the smaller's head up slightly and let a slow trickle of nectar flow into his mouth.

A faint whimper escaped his mouth as Will shifted his torso slightly. The blonde closed his eyes to prevent tears from spilling. He didn't need to look, he already knew. A sharp pain was felt in his heart every time Nico let out a noise of pain as he shimmied his coat and long sleeve shirt off. A familiar array of scars and tattoos met his eyes, but his vision was attracted to the area to the left and under his bellybutton. There weren't many new scars, and only three of them were fresh.

He leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on them. Nico got frustrated when his boyfriend healed these with Nectar or Ambrosia, something about the pain and the scar comforted him in a grotesque way. Instead, Will settled on getting a small bowl of warm water and a soft washcloth from the bathroom.

He settled on the bed gently and began the delicate process of slowly working the dried blood off his skin. The boy froze every time an involuntary flinch made his body tremble. When he was done he walked back to the bathroom and cleaned the bowl and washcloth before setting them on the counter.

When Will returned to the bed, he sat down next to the unconscious male before laying down. He wrapped his arms around his limp torso and pulled him closer. Nico instinctively curled into the taller's chest, his body craving warmth.

He lightly traced the tattoos that decorated his boyfriend's chest and back. On the left side of his chest, there was an intricate sun, eclipsed by a half moon. He claimed it was him and Will, the blonde was the sun and he was the moon, as one. Will had forbid him from getting his name tattooed, as nothing good ever came from getting a significant other's name written on your skin forever.

On his right hip, Bianca's name was etched into his skin in a simple cursive font; the handwriting his own. After knowing that his memories were wiped, he's been terrified of forgetting his new life. For him it was an assurance that she would always be with him.

On his back was a set of dark angel wings, laced with white and red feathers. A simple silver crown was inked above it. He claimed that they were there so he would never forget himself or his duty. He was a dark angel, a misunderstood creature. And a king who had a responsibility to not only his father, but the rest of the mortal world, which he had sworn to protect.

A large diamond was tainting the inside of his left wrist, for his half sister, Hazel, and a small eaglet stretching his wings towards the sky was just behind his right ear, for Tom.

Will placed another soft kiss on the top of his head. His hand found it's way into the dark hair, softly tugging out the tangles and grazing over his scalp. It was around mid-day, so he wasn't to tired despite the fact that they had just engaged in a fight with three empousa. He took a deep breath and settled farther into the sheets, completely content with just snuggling for now.

There was his book, Hogwarts; A History on the nightstand that he would grab in a few minutes. He reached to the side and grasped the black, fluffy throw that was kept there for times when they never actually wanted to get under the comforter but were still cold. Will carefully draped it over the two of them and reached back over for his book.

It was just beyond his fingertips, much to his annoyance. He twisted even further, his arm stretched as far as it could. After a nudge from his index finger, the precariously perched book was taken over by gravity and it fell to the floor with a thud. He groaned and untangled himself from Nico to roll over, both his arms stretching for the fallen object. Again, it was just beyond his reach.
