Kang Daniel

(i'm writing this in the subway and i am sooo getting some cute vibes rn because of the couples i'm seeing lmao and this imagine is requested btw)

I woke up earlier than any other morning and checked on my 6 month old little boy. I placed him in his play space we've set in the living room before I showered.

After getting myself set to go out, I dressed my son and fed Daniel's cats since he reminded me before going to never forget to feed Rooney and Peter while he's gone.

Since Daniel was chosen by his company to join a survival show called Produce 101, he's been away from us for 2 months by now. I decided to give him a small surprise by visiting him during the filming of the show.

I've cooked some food for Daniel and his team members for the week. I arranged the foods in the backseat making sure that it wouldn't tumble or fall.

After buckling Danny into his baby seat set next to the driver's seat and making sure that he's safely secured, I started to drive to the shooting venue for Produce 101.

When I arrived, the first person I happen to meet was my older brother, Seongwoo who was also participating in the survival show.

"I missed my little nephew." Seongwoo grinned at my baby boy.

I handed Danny to his uncle who already had his hands under Danny's arms.

Since Seongwoo was in the same team as Daniel for that week, he guided me to their practice room. When we reached there, Seongwoo went in first with Danny and they all crowded around him.

"Why is Danny here?" Daniel asked the crew behind the camera.

"This is Danny?!" Woojin and Jihoon started baby talking to somehow communicate(?) with Danny.

"Wait-" Samuel looked at Daniel.

"Is (y/n) noona here?" Hyungseob asked.

"Hey guys!" I entered the practice room and Daniel immediately pulled me into a bear hug.

"(y/n) noona!" Hyungseob, Jihoon, Woojin and Samuel gathered around me as well.

"What made you come here?" Daniel asked after everyone has settled down.

"I just thought I'd give you a small surprise visit." I grinned as we sat together interlocking our fingers.

"Small? This is huge! I've missed you two so much!" Daniel hugged his son who was sitting on his crossed legs.

"He wouldn't stop talking about how amazing your cooking is." Samuel said.

"Good thing I brought homemade food for all of you." I stood up to get the plastics of food.

We all ate together in the practice room before they start practising again. I watched them from behind the cameras as they were filmed while they discuss on the mission for the week.

The next week, the new episode for Produce 101 came out and I watched it together with my sister. Then, there was the scene where Daniel's team were practising.

I didn't know that they would include footages of me in the show but then there I was. They aired the footage of when the boys played around with Danny and also the footage of us eating together.

Danny watched himself in the tv and it made him laugh. He walked closer to the tv with his tiny feet and pointed to himself on the screen. Then, he pointed to Daniel and finally said his first word.

"Appa!" Danny giggled.

"DID HE JUST SAY APPA?!" Daniel popped out from behind the couch.

I screamed in terror from the shock as my sister laughed at everything that was happening.

"Euigeon-ah why are you here?!" I asked.

"I managed to persuade the crew to let me out for a while because I wanted to surprise you too." Daniel placed a kiss on my lips.

"Appa!" Danny opened his arms towards Daniel slowly walking to his father.

As Danny stumble a little on his steps, Daniel managed to scoop his son in his arm with his right hand pulling me into the group hug.

Being the greatest sister in the world, my sister grabbed my polaroid camera and snapped the beautiful picture of us.

That night, we had the best time after 2 months. After having dinner together, my sister went home and Daniel, Danny and I stayed in the living room together to watch some movies.

The next morning when we woke up, Daniel and I were hugging each other with Danny soundly asleep in between our arms.

i wanted to post this on the day i got back from Korea but school got in the way... i'm so sorry for that 😭

since this is the last request i've received, the book is officially closed! ❤ thanks for supporting it from the first chapter up till now! i'm honestly just ending this book because school takes up my life and updates are getting slower and slower and i didn't want to disappoint you all 😢
