"I call dibs on the soggy pieces of popcorn." You blinked and looked over at the male next to you. You let out a sigh of relief, chuckling and shaking your head.
"Lar-Bear.. you don't have to tell me twice."
You teased, earning a playful punch to the arm from the male. The movie started and you two scooted closer together. It was summer however, due to the rain from earlier, the night was cool and it even caused you to shiver.
Larry noticed this and draped the blanket over you, wrapping an arm around you. You must've looked flustered because he immediately asked nervously if it was okay with you. You nodded, shaking from nervousness instead of the cold now. But.. he didn't need to know that.
The movie was pretty good, you two laughing a few times at a few moments during the movie. You started to try and pack away the blankets but Larry held your wrist to stop you.
"Keep them there. It's a surprise. Just get in the passenger's seat." He instructed.
You did as he said, as, he was your ride home and you knew your guardian really wouldn't want to pick you up at 10pm at night.
Sitting and buckling in, you looked forward, waiting for him to get up front and start the car."Where are you taking me Larry?" You asked with a smirk.
He just snickered, and stared ahead at the road as he drove. "You'll see, busy bee." He teased, sticking his tongue out.
Chuckling, you look out of the window, watching the passing cars. It was peaceful. Larry hummed along to whatever was playing on the radio. The wind tossed both heads of hair in the car around, causing you two to chuckle.
After about 20 minutes you arrived at your destination. The lake.
Larry grinned and winked. "So? You like the stars?"
